Q: I understand Pinnaca is a new brand name resulting from your recent merger of BCS Global and Video Guidance. Tell me more about the company and how has this merger helped?

Our premium services set the bar for delivering excellence in the user experience by delivering 24/7 support for customers around the globe. Our agnostic approach to technology allows our customers to select the right video solution that meets their business needs today and into the future. The merger of BCS Global (very strong in EMEA and AsiaPac) and Video Guidance (very strong in the United States) has strengthened our position as a global provider, allowing our customers to partner with a single source provider for their global requirements.
Q: What does Pinnaca provide that other video conferencing companies do not?
A: Pinnaca’s number-one focus is to deliver excellence in the user experience. We focus on the end-to-end service that addresses people’s appetite to use video technology in their business processes, and how well it integrates into their business workflow. Q: What is Pinnaca’s reach? Is Pinnaca global?
A: Pinnaca is global. Pinnaca has VNOCs in the US, Canada, UK and Hong Kong, delivering a 24/7, follow-the-sun support model for our customers. This is a major differentiator in the marketplace. We manage video endpoints and infrastructure anywhere in the world, and our cloud video architecture sits on top of some large tier 1 carriers that deliver our service to their customers under a white label model.
Q: What types of enterprises and organizations are typically great fits for your company?
A: Our sweet spot is multi-national companies and large enterprises that have zero tolerance for error and see video conferencing as a mission-critical application. We focus on customers that have very high expectations of delivery to their end users. Key verticals include healthcare, education, government, legal and financial services.

Q: How does Pinnaca address the ongoing evolution of visual communications in a global market?
A: This is a great question and at the core of who we are as a company. Our approach is to build a trusted adviser relationship with our customers because the industry has changed so much over the last 17 years and will continue to change at an even faster past. We remain strong on our position to be agnostic with the technologies we support because our customers ask us to. We support the commercial vendors but then add a Pinnaca layer on top that, which: 1) differentiates our offerings in the marketplace and 2) allows us to deliver the same service to the end user by hiding the technology and simply delivering a service. This allows customers to change the underlying technology with no impact to the end user’s experience.
Q: What is the relationship with video vendors like Cisco, Polycom, Acano, Vidyo and Pexip? Are they competitors or partners to Pinnaca?
A: All of the video vendors are partners, which help to support our customers around the globe. Each vendor has unique strengths and provides solutions for different business problems. We have invested in all of these technologies to deliver both cloud services and on-premise solutions.
