Our interview below is with James DeBoe, CEO of get4it:

James-DeBoeQ: get4it helps online retailers sell more. How would you describe get4it in your own words?

A: get4it helps online retailers identify which of their products need to be repriced, to help them sell more, in a simple to understand format.

Q: You’ve recently announced a partnership with Bigcommerce, tell us something more?

A: Our partnership with Bigcommerce is an exciting step for us. We launched our app with the eBay and Amazon marketplaces with a goal to add more platforms over the year. Bigcommerce is a natural fit; they are growing rapidly and they cover our exact target client. We are one of only 6 companies to be part of the initial Bigcommerce Offers Program. Additionally, we’ve just released a Single Click App for the Bigcommerce app store, and currently we are the only Pricing Intelligence / Repricing company to have a Single Click App (which is different than the old apps).

Q: What is Merchant Health Statistics?

A: The Merchant Health Statistics are an easy to understand visual representation of where a merchant stands in the marketplace. Retailers can look at their stores’ competitiveness, and reports are color-coded – green notes where the seller has a competitive advantage, red means they’re at a disadvantage and orange indicates they’re selling the product too cheap. We also supply an over all score on the Dashboard along with Competitive Insights.

Q: Could you tell us something more about your proprietary pricing intelligence platform?

A: The algorithm looks not only at price but at the other sellers’ feedback scores, number of items sold, etc.. It’s been proven that a customer would likely spend more to buy from a seller with a higher rating, then just a cheaper price. We look to leverage big data to deliver the greatest level of outcome that we can generate for the customer, The goal is to increase sales while protecting margins.

Q: What are your plans for the next six months?

A: Our road-map over the next six months includes growing our core functionality, adding additional platforms, and nurturing additional strategic partnerships.
