Q: What’s Proposable’s Story?

A: Proposable was born out of my frustrations with the sales proposal process. In a former life, I was doing sales work and spent far too much time trying to customize and deliver sales proposals for each new prospect. It would take me a good hour before I had opened and customized my Adobe Indesign template, exported to PDF, Downsized that PDF to an email-able size, then finally deliver it as an attachment to the prospect – all of this and then I had to wonder what was happening on the other end. Did they get the email? Did they download the attached proposal? If they looked at it, which parts did they spend time on? I started scheming ways of cutting out all these tedious hours a day I was spending creating, customizing, and delivering sales proposals and the solution I came up with was Proposable.com.

Q: How did Proposable Start?

A: When I first wrote the business plan for Proposable, I entered it into a few startup competitions and ended up winning a competition through the startup incubator program at Sproutbox. I got initial funding and a huge kickstart through their program.

A: I see three main advantages of using Proposable for the proposal process.

1. It removes lots of time and pain from the proposal process.

2. Proposable tracks each proposal and each view and action that your prospect is taking and you get to see exactly what is going on with every proposal you send out.

3. Since each proposal is web-based, you can include things inside your proposal, like video, that have never before been possible in a word document or PDF

Q: Tell us about your pricing plans?

A: Our 3 pricing plans are very simple: Pro ($29) for a single user account, Team($39/user/mo) for an account with more features geared towards the needs of sales teams and Enterprise($49/user/mo) that focuses on sales teams that need a more custom proposal workflow – this plan includes API access and more features geared toward larger sales teams.

Q: Future Plans?

A: We are dead-set of being the best solution for solving the pain of the proposal process for small and large organizations.
