Q: Could you provide our readers with a brief introduction to your company?
A: Quantbase makes high-risk, high-upside investing easy. We host a huge selection of automated portfolios, from smart quant hedge fund strategies on one end and crypto indices on the other, peppered with mass appeal strategies like Inverse Cramer index.
Q: Any highlights on your recent announcement?
A: Biggest highlights – we’re launched, we raised $500k, we’re now a team of 4, including senior software engineers with almost a decade building full-stack consumer products at Google and Amazon, automation engineers at leading insurtech firms, and engineers and advisors at fintech firms like Chime, Robinhood, and OpenSea, as well as at firms Citadel and Goldman Sachs.

Q: Can you give us more insights into your offering?
A: Yes – the funds themselves are automated and rules-based. The rules each fund runs on are posted in the details for each fund. For example, the leverage flagship is based on technical indicators including the simple moving average. All the rules, as well as the paper this strategy is based on, are noted in the details. Our offerings look to take advantage of high risk strategies (like minimizing market risk and replacing that risk with leverage) and high risk assets (like crypto) to maximize potential returns.
Q: What can we expect from your company in next 6 months? What are your plans?
A: We are looking to grow the engineering and marketing portions of the team, and expand our crypto offerings tenfold. This will let us go toe-to-toe with full-scale retail platforms like Vanguard. Quantbase aims to standardize the alternative space – which includes crypto and NFTs, but also assets like wine and non-assets like prediction markets – in the same way Vanguard has helped standardize the traditional finance world

Q: What is the best thing about your company that people might not know about?
A: Our team’s average age is just 24, but even so, we bring quant trading talent, previous startup exits, and senior engineering experience at the likes of Google. We’ve raised money, amassed a waitlist of 4,000 organically with $70M in assets, and know the user intimately.
