Q: Could you provide our readers with a brief introduction to your company?
A: Randall Brothers, Inc. was established in 1885 and has long been known as an innovative manufacturer, distributor, and retailer of custom millwork and mouldings throughout the southeast. Luther Randall III, the fourth-generation owner of Randall Brothers, was looking to expand and develop a “New Randall Brothers”, sort of a 2.0 if you will, with a growth plan that aligned perfectly with another Atlanta based building materials company called PMC Building Materials. So, in 2019, Luther acquired the assets of PMC and charged his new executive management team with the task of re-building and re-branding Randall Brothers as the company that combines the exceptionally broad product lines and service offerings of both companies to serve our Atlanta and other target markets.
Q: Any highlights on your recent announcement?
A: Several actually. First and foremost, our newly combined customer base can expect much more broadened product and service offerings coming from Randall Brothers. Secondly, our vendor and manufacturing partners should also see increased growth from us throughout our markets as we re-brand the new company and strengthen the combined cultures of the companies and the knowledge of our employees. Thirdly, later this fall we will be revealing our newest facility in Atlanta, which is currently under construction. This facility will house a unique state-of-the-art showroom displaying all of the latest products available, along with the history of Randall Brothers and the contributions they made regarding the growth in Atlanta and the construction industry. So, a lot to look forward too for not only our customers and partners, but also our employees.

Q: Can you give us more insights into your offering?
A: Absolutely. As would be expected, Randall Brothers offers your typical building materials that every lumberyard does. What allows us to stand out and in front of our competition though, is the depth of product offerings we have. Since we service the remodelers, general contractors, custom homebuilders, and deck builders as well as the consumer, we have to be sure to have on hand or at the very least, a supplier capable of getting the myriad of products our customers may come across on projects, and for a market as old as Atlanta, that is quite a diverse product offering. In addition to that, our crowning achievement has been on the decking and outdoor living side of the business.
Q: What can we expect from your company in next 6 months? What are your plans?
A: Well, I already mentioned our newest facility coming this fall, and over the next 6 months, as far as growth is concerned, we are currently in growth mode, so we expect to capture additional market share just as any other two strong companies should as they come together. The one thing I would add in addition to these, is our short to long-term goal. Our goal is to add additional companies to our business model, with similar cultures and interests along with a desire to grow within our current and target markets.

A: I am not sure if anyone can define “the best thing” about a company, since that answer will more than likely be different to anyone being asked that question. Usually, there are several good things about a company. So let me just pick one of those “good” things that is on the top of our list that many people should know. Randall Brothers is a family-oriented company with a desire to find employees that are looking for a family-orientated place to call home. We continuously search for employees that like working in a team environment and thrive with the autonomy to make good decisions that not only puts food on their table, but also allows them to build futures for their children. We want our employees to feel proud to say; I work for Randall Brothers; and we are a leader in the building materials industry!
