Reclaim247 Helps Drivers Recover Compensation From Unfair Or Mis-Sold Car Finance Agreements

SSuperbCrew is a trusted resource for discovering innovative companies, emerging startups, and the latest technology trends.

Below is our recent interview with Andrew Franks from Reclaim247:

Q: Could you provide our readers with a brief introduction to your company?

A: Reclaim247, part of the Claimsline Group, is a UK-based claims management company focused on car finance mis-selling. We help drivers recover compensation from unfair or mis-sold car finance agreements, ensuring transparency and fair treatment from lenders.

Q: What makes you the best choice? How are you unique?

A: What truly sets us apart is our unwavering customer-first approach combined with deep expertise in a complex field. The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) found that mis-selling has been a widespread problem, with some dealers overcharging customers hundreds of pounds in interest to get bigger commissions. We were built to tackle this injustice head-on.

Our uniqueness comes from a few key areas:

  • No Financial Risk for Clients: We operate on a no-win, no-fee basis. If we don’t succeed in reclaiming any money for you, you don’t pay a single penny. This removes the financial barrier for people who deserve justice.
  • Expert Legal Backing: We collaborate with Bott&Co Solicitors, which provides our clients with robust legal representation and enhances our ability to successfully handle claims.
  • Simplicity and Support: We’ve designed a straightforward, stress-free process where we handle most of the work. Despite our growth, we ensure a real person is assigned to each case, maintaining a crucial human connection.
  • Proven Need: An FCA investigation confirmed the scale of the problem, revealing that only 11 out of 122 car retailers informed customers about potential commissions. Our service directly addresses this systemic lack of transparency.

Q: What can we expect from you in the next 12 months? What are your plans?

A: Over the next 12 months, our focus is on smart, sustainable growth that enhances the customer experience. With over 500,000 drivers already registered with us, we’re scaling up our operations significantly.

Our plans include:

  1. Smarter Technology: We are investing in automation to simplify and speed up key stages of the claims process, such as eligibility checks and case progression, allowing us to handle more claims with greater efficiency.
  2. Expanded Capacity: We are growing our team by hiring more internal staff and legal specialists to meet the increasing demand without sacrificing the personal, one-on-one service our clients value.
  3. Enhanced Agreement Tracing: We’re upgrading our systems to better locate historic finance agreements, helping clients who may have lost paperwork or don’t remember their lender’s details.
  4. Broader Scope: We are actively reviewing how to help customers affected by other mis-sold products to provide a more comprehensive review of their agreements.
  5. Continued Reinvestment: We will continue our strategy of reinvesting in our systems and service quality to build a platform that can support consumers for years to come.

Q: What is the best thing about your company that people might not know about?

A: One of the best things that people might not know is our origin story and our deep-seated commitment to community. Reclaim247 was started with just a few thousand pounds of my personal savings. We didn’t have large investors; we grew organically through strategic reinvestment and a relentless focus on delivering for our clients.

Alongside that entrepreneurial spirit is our dedication to giving back. We are incredibly proud to support a wide range of charities. This includes working with RoadPeace, the national charity for road crash victims, raising money for Macmillan Cancer Support, and doubling our staff’s food donations to the Trussell Trust. We’ve also donated thousands in Christmas presents for underprivileged children through Wood Street Mission and raised over £7,400 to fight homelessness in the CEO Sleepout. This community focus is at the heart of who we are, it’s not just about business, it’s about making a positive impact.
