Q: You’ve recently announced $14.27m in Series C Round; could you tell us something more?
A: We did announce a first closing of our Series C recently. This allows us to strengthen two pillars that are at the heart of Move24. First of all, it allows us to further improve the technological side for both the customers and the partners we work with. Second, it allows us to further integrate additional services into our portfolio. Already now it is possible for a customer to change services like his or her energy provider during Move24’s unique moving experience. Looking forward we will have more services that complement the moving process.
Q: What makes Move24 a good choice?
A: For the customer, first of all Move24 is a good choice because of the consistent high quality and the convenience of the whole process. Local partners choose Move24 because of the steady planning that working with us allows. For the moving industry, Move24 has a positive impact by increasing quality and providing technical solutions to the industry.

A: To begin with, the customer often comes to us because one of our exclusive partner refers them to us. The process differs slightly between every market, but real estate market leaders like ImmobilienScout24 in Germany exclusively cooperate with Move24 once you found a new flat. What happens then: the customer gets a fixed price offer based on his personal move requests. It is a personal choice if they prefer to plan the whole process 100% online or via phone. Then we will organize the whole moving process, the transportation itself is operated by our partner companies. Within the same process our clients can also directly change their energy or internet provider. One of the most important things for us, is the fact that everything is based on technology. From the route optimization, to the Customer Service Centre or the Move24 App, that every moving team has on a tablet. This is important to assure quality – and at the same time make the whole process transparent to the customer.
Q: Who are the primary clients of Move24?
A: The removals market is huge. For example in Germany, did you know that 10% of the German population change apartments per year? This means more than 8 million people will move this year. Well, they won’t all move with Move24, small moves are still often self-operated. But the number of people who turn to a company for planning and operating their move is growing. Especially among our primary clients, families and people who have time consuming jobs. They simply want a easy and convenient experience that provides them a strong partner focused on quality. This being said, they are accustomed to online services. This is, where Move24 comes in.

Q: What are your plans for the future?
A: The plans of Move24 for the future are clear: Relocate the customers whole life with just one click. This is the level of simplicity we want to take the process of relocation to. And this is far from where it is now. Not only when it comes to moving your belongings from one apartment to another, we want look everything else that is connected to it: the need for a new energy or internet provider – or even a new gym near your place. Move24 is going to be a one stop shop for every service connected to one of the most important things: a new home.
