Q: Could you tell us something more about the company?

A: We are a universal, smart content management software vendor that provides content and marketing solutions to global brands.

Our technology is often used to help organization in their digital transformation programs, establishing a hub of smart content that serves the business and enables them to flexibly connect with their consumer across the entire buying journey, from marketing in customer acquisition, through to loyalty and advocacy.

We can do this as, unlike our competitors, we use an innovative semantic database technology, that is incredibly fast at delivering contextualized content, like technology that is used in cutting edge artificial intelligence and virtual assistant technology, like Amazon Echo or Google Home.
 

Q: Who are the primary clients of censhare and why do they choose censhare?

A: censhare’s primary clients are enterprise level companies across a variety of industries including retail, manufacturing, agencies, finance, and publishing. Our clients choose us because we efficiently and easily manage digital assets and product information and then publish this personalized for “the multis” (multiple channels – including web, print and social, multiple formats, multiple personas and multiple languages) on a very large scale.

censhare client’s include Kohl’s, Christies, GoPro and Vitra. In the case of Vitra, a high end furniture manufacturer and retailer in Europe, they came to us with a number of challenges…

• Their need to have close integration between their international marketing campaigns, their online shop, and their global network of local dealers
• The coordination of numerous touchpoints from Vitra’s ecommerce shop and price lists into brochures, and catalogs, and to social media channels, all in several languages
• The operational support of contextual info terminals located at VitraHaus, their flagship store located in Rhein, Germany, with personal key access to information and an interactive configurator
• They needed to replace their legacy image database, PIM, TMS and WCMS
They now have consistent communication across all channels which enables them to run identically orchestrated campaigns via print, web and social. Their catalog is produced seamlessly in seven different languages. Perhaps most impressively, their entire site is hosted by censhare which allows them to house a configurator on their site, which for high-end furniture shoppers is much more than a novelty.

Q: Tell us something about semantic database?

A: Our semantic database, which is proprietery and built completely in house, was devised to make relating data, any and all kinds of data, easy and intuitive.

censhare’s semantic database is based on relationships, which is how the human mind is wired as well. Incidentally, this coding was originally written for artificial intelligence (AI). As a result, a digital asset management tool with a semantic database is built to make marketing projects efficient and intuitive.

To go a little more in depth on the functionality of a semantic database, imagine a graph. A graph allows you to interconnect relationships of nodes and arcs by patterning them correctly as opposed to an SQL code. For example, an SQL code could not intuitively understand that a dog is not only a canine but also has four legs and barks. Dog = Canine, Dog = four legs, Dog = barks would all be written into code. But what if the dog also likes to chase squirrels and the squirrel runs from the dog? Then the coding would become more complex. A semantic network understands these relationships and can quickly adjust a relationship based on any scenario.
