Q: Anna, what is Avenue Code?
A: Avenue Code is a leading software consultancy focused on delivering end-to-end development solutions for digital transformation across every vertical. With advanced technical acumen cultivated and grown as an intricate part of our internal professional path, our collaborative problem-solving work environment, and the warm professionalism, innovation, and excellent bedside manner of our teams, we’re known among Fortune 100 companies as the go-to technology partner to support their business growth.
Q: Any highlights on your recent announcement?
A: Once the shut-down took place in March of 2020, we went overnight from having 5 offices to 1,000 offices (1 office per employee). We had to focus on two things: maintaining a strong culture in a 100% distributed model, and using technology to enable the new distributed model. Neither was an easy thing to do. But with a meticulous revisit of every operational detail, we succeeded both in protecting our #oneavenuecode culture and also in using a state-of-the-art, home-grown technology that enabled our entire global work force to continue working seamlessly from their homes.
This resulted in the company almost doubling in size as opposed to folding down. We are very proud to be in the running for multiple fastest growing awards — including our recent spotlight as a top 100 fastest growing private company in the Bay Area by San Francisco Business Times — and we are positioned to stay on this growth trajectory for the foreseeable future.
Q: What can we expect from your company in the next 6 months? What are your plans?
A: We are expanding into new geographies, starting with the Netherlands, Portugal, and Eastern Europe. We’re also expanding into Mexico and Argentina in Latin America. In addition, we are continuing to diversify our service offerings to include Cloud Computing, Design, and Virtual Experiences.
Q: What is the best thing about your company that people might not know about?
A: We have a diversity committee managing an internal program called Cross Road that is aimed at promoting diversity and inclusion within Avenue Code globally at every level. We strive to be cognizant of D&I at all levels of our global operation. We constantly train our staff from talent acquisition all the way to delivery to be always aware of the fragility of maintaining a diverse culture.Activate Social Media:
