Squaretalk Interconnects 100’s Of Leading Apps To Create A Bespoke Hub For Business Communications

Below is our recent interview with Elie Rubin, CEO of Squaretalk:

Q: Could you provide our readers with a brief introduction to your company?

A: Our journey started over a decade ago under the name of Deskforce, and recently we’ve rebranded to Squaretalk, which better encapsulates our long-term vision and mission to simplify and enhance how businesses communicate with their customers.

We work across every communications channel, providing voice, text, chat, and messaging solutions through our cloud communication tools. Additionally, we offer integration capabilities that enable our clients to interconnect their business communication systems, which ultimately elevates the user experience, drives customer loyalty and scales operations, while also improving operational systems for remote workforces. This is particularly relevant in current times as remote working is rapidly growing.

According to a survey by Enterprise Technology Research, the percentage of workers permanently working from home is expected to double this year, so it’s crucial for businesses to have robust, secure communications systems in place to ensure operations run smoothly and employees have the tools and systems they need to do their jobs – this is where we come in.

Q: Any highlights on your recent announcement?

A: For a long time now many businesses have relied on voice communications as an important part of their customer relations strategy. Over the last few years – in part due to lockdowns – the demand and traffic for voice and messaging has significantly increased.

With this integration, we are adding a telephony layer to over 40 Zoho One applications. We are giving call operators the ability to answer and make phone calls from any app available in the Zoho marketplace and automatically provide contextual information about the caller. This, in turn, improves the efficiency of call operators by eliminating the need to switch to the CRM tab and search for information about the caller which greatly improves the customer experience.

Q: Can you give us more insights into your offering?

A: At present we have over 200 companies deployed with Squaretalk globally, thousands are using our services every day around the world – this is a testament of our scale.Over and above the voice, text, chat and messaging solutions we have, we also offer a range of modular services including, HD Voice SIP Trunking, Brand Reputation, and Worldwide Virtual Phone Numbers. We are essentially a one stop shop for brand communications.

While we are headquartered in Israel and with a hub in Bulgaria, we’re very much a global brand and so we’re expanding into new geographies and working on new products, so watch this space!

Q: What can we expect from your company in next 6 months? What are your plans?

A: We’re working on exciting new partnerships which will hopefully come to fruition in the coming months. Cooperation with industry peers to achieve common goals is very common in this industry, and as an intelligent solution that enables connections between other technologies as well as enhancing business to consumer (B2C) communications, these strategic partnerships are crucial for us to achieve our ambitions. This is one of the main reasons we have built our no-code integration product Lynx – we believe that as we expand the ease and variety of integrations available, we will become the central hub for business app integration and automation.

Q: What is the best thing about your company that people might not know about?

A: It’s no secret that Jerusalem is a unique location. One of the things we are most proud of is the diversity of our workforce. At Squaretalk, Jews, Muslims and Christians work together at all levels of the company. This diversity pays huge dividends not just on an interpersonal level; even before the historical Abraham accords, we had a robust business in the Gulf Region. Our multilingual team is able to communicate with partners across the Middle East and into Europe and beyond. Far from the headlines, the Squaretalk team is proud to be part of the Jerusalem tech scene and its diverse tapestry.
