Q: Can you give us insights into your solutions?

A: The foundation of STORIS is our in-store retail software solution. We have been running furniture stores for three decades with Point of Sale, Inventory Management, Delivery and Warehouse Logistics, Merchandising Tools, Accounting, and Analytical Reporting. Our core solution is used through showrooms from $1M to $1B in revenue. That means, no matter the size of your store, you are using the same industry leading technology foundation. Q: What types of businesses can use your solutions?

A: STORIS is laser-focused on home furnishings; that is stores that sell merchandise for the home: furniture, bedding, appliance, casual, décor, and any mix in-between. Our dedication to this market is what guides development that general retail systems can’t match such as Special Order Configuration, Delivery Logistics, and Just-In-Time Inventory. Further, we understand the challenges retailers are looking to solve and provide technologies that meet their needs across channels.

Q: Why is now the time for a technology solution like STORIS?

A: We have been behind businesses driven by technology since 1989, before it was cool, but the reality is that now customers are demanding technology adoption. We work with over a third of the Top 100 furniture retailers. While their core challenges are universal including sales order, inventory, warehouse, and customer optimization, they do all have unique brand needs. Our client services division is critical to ensuring we understand the specific ROI our retailers are seeking from technology and providing best practices to get them there. This includes implementation services to help our clients launch STORIS and our NJ-based technical support team for on-going training. The most common challenge retailers all face today is how to cater to that multi-channel consumer and how to effectively sell a product that is traditionally touch and feel. The early adopters of our Unified Commerce solutions and eSTORIS website are seeing impressive eCommerce sales growth and monthly figures that rank high among their showroom performance.

Q: What can we expect from STORIS in the future?

A: We understand that for technology to be effective it must be designed for what the customer needs now. Half of our team represents product development, product direction, and quality assurance. This is what allows us to introduce new solutions on a continuous basis. We are excited to kick off 2020 with our Next Generation Platform introduction and new mobile technologies that change the landscape of furniture shopping.
