Q: Christian, what is StructShare?
A: StructShare is a technology company building the next-generation procurement and materials management platform for the construction industry. Its purpose-built software solution helps specialty trade contractors manage the entire procurement cycle, by the traditional email-based workflows with a fully digital and automated process that improves field productivity and visibility, and enables dramatic cost saving and cost control in the office.
Q: Can you give us more insights into your offering?
A: StructShare is an end-to-end purchasing and materials management solution designed for specialty contractors and self performing GCs. It streamlines the entire procurement cycle from field requisitions, approval flows, POs, RFQs, through deliveries and full automation of invoice reconciliation. StructShare easily integrates into project management and ERP systems and connects the field, office, warehouse, and suppliers on an intuitive workflow that eliminates double entry, reordering and billing mistakes while helping to control job costing, track material prices, manage inventory, and more.

Q: What can we expect from your company in the next 6 months?
A: StructShare is rapidly developing new capabilities into its core solution, focused on saving time and money through smart and efficient procurement and materials management. In the next 6 months, we expect to launch an enhanced quote comparison functionality that will help contractors reach multiple suppliers in a click, and effectively select the right item at the best price and availability.
Q: What are your plans?
A: Our mission is to help specialty contractors ace their jobs by resolving the inefficiencies in the procurement process. We truly believe that these companies and people are the ones who are building our world and the impact on everyone’s lives is dramatic, so our plan is to continue supporting contractors and working closely with our customers and partners to bring more innovation and solutions that will support this mission.

Q: What is the best thing about your company that people might not know about?
A: StructShare consists of a passionate group of people who are kind and value oriented. People who haven’t had the chance to communicate with us wouldn’t know the respect we have for the hard work of our customers and the industry. We come from the industry either as practitioners or as vendors providing solutions.
