Q: How would you describe Success Co. in your own words?
A: I would describe Success Co. as the conduit between superstars of sports or entertainment and the common consumer who wants to learn from them or have an up-close and personal lesson with their idol. We make the dream of learning from a pro (#learnfromapro) a reality. We provide the content and allow people to access and engage with it from anywhere in the world at any time.
Clearly, the challenge is “well I can’t pay Rickie Fowler for a golf lesson” because it would cost a fortune – but with the accessibly of a smartphone and the technology innovations in the market, users can get a lesson from Rickie Fowler in either 2D or in virtual reality for under $10. Making this service extremely desirable to any consumer looking to take strokes off their golf game.
There are numerous challenges that come with starting up any business but from the perspective of Success Co, our main goal has been to create awareness and get people familiar with the lessons. In some areas, golf is niche and not mainstream enough for the casual sports fan…generally speaking. Also, any product or service takes time to gain people’s trust and to gather a following.

Q: Rickie Fowler has teamed up with Success Co. to launch virtual-reality coaching platform; could you tell us something more?
A: We built Success Series around Rickie to launch us into the coaching world. The key was utilizing his on and off curse persona to bring new fans to the game in new markets. Golf has had an image problem for many years and is seen by some millennials as boring or too technical. We have simplified the learning experience with a completely different feel that no other coaching service can duplicate. Don’t forget, we are not just a golf brand. We are in the process of creating other Success Series with other superstars across different sports.
Q: Could you tell us something more about pricing?
A: Our low prices are the key to attracting customers. Plus, the accessibility of these lessons gives us the chance to be a mainstream player in the market. It’s vital for golf fans or students of the game to be assured that they don’t need to spend a lot of money to do something in sports…this product is proof. I also like the fact that you can access Success Series from multiple devices with or without VR. Giving you the ability to learn in any setting at any point in time.
Q: More generally, how do you see the VR technologies developing, and where do you place yourself in the industry?
A: VR technologies are becoming more advanced every day – that’s why our next round of Success Series will be industry leading and in 6 degrees of freedom (6dof). That next round will include animation, volumetric capturing, and give you the ability to engage with Rickie (or other stars) and move around them. This development will change the industry and create the ultimate learning environment where we will sit at the forefront of virtual reality coaching/instruction from a technology and talent standpoint.

Q: What are your plans for 2018?
A: 2018 is the year to implement the 6dof experiences across sports to include Basketball, Tennis, Baseball, American Football, Soccer, and others.
