Q: Could you provide our readers with a brief introduction to the California Mobility Center?

A: The California Mobility Center (CMC) is a Sacramento-based, non-profit public-private business acceleration hub that provides qualifying, advanced mobility early-stage companies from around the world with a faster path to commercializing their products, services and technologies in the California market and around the globe.

The CMC is a unique resource, created to propel future mobility innovations through the difficult final stages of bringing new products to market.

Q: Can you tell us something more about your Members?

A: CMC’s Members are global industry leaders with a vested interest in advanced mobility and California commercialization. They include:

• OEMs (Ford, VW, etc.)
• Tier 1 auto suppliers (major parts manufacturers for the OEMs)
• Electric utilities
• Infrastructure companies
• Fleet owners/operators

• State & local government

Q: Can you give us more insights into your services?

A: From concept to commercialization, the CMC provides a structured path for early-stage companies, to support innovation and commercialization into the global market, pairing Clients with industry professionals and preferred service providers to work together effectively on a successful commercial launch. CMC bridges the gap in the last stages of the commercialization process left by traditional future mobility accelerators and incubators by providing programs, services, access to funding, industry-specific workforce development and training, and project oversight to enhance cooperation and increase the pace of commercialization.

Q: Who is your ideal client and why?

A: Early-stage future mobility companies who are past the ideation phase and ready for testing and validation, product manufacturing, product demonstration, market entry, etc.
