Q: Could you provide our readers with a brief introduction to your company?
A: TireTutor is an automotive SaaS business providing digital retail solutions to dealers. We are a technology company focused exclusively on this vertical, helping dealers compete in a digital age. We built the first e-commerce marketplace for tires that connects online shoppers to local dealers.
Q: Any highlights on your recent announcement?
A: We just launched our first-of-many wholesale ordering platform with Tony’s Tires & Wheels, which brings a modern and efficient approach to tire distribution. Our goal is to make the ordering and purchasing process throughout the value chain as simple as possible, allowing dealers to focus on growing their business and selling more tires. Increasing tire sales increases service business and gain lifetime-valued customers.

Q: Can you give us more insights into your offering?
A: We bring new online tire shoppers to dealers. We are the first in the industry to offer Google Shopping local listings for tires, allowing brick-and-mortar shops to compete with large online retailers. Any dealer can be plugged into our system and have their inventory live in a matter of minutes. We offer an iframe for franchise dealers to integrate directly into their existing website, creating a digital consumer-facing tire store.
Q: What can we expect from your company in next 6 months? What are your plans?
A: We recently raised our seed fundraising round and plan to expand and grow significantly this year. We plan to use the funding for expanding the team, product development and geographic expansion.

Q: What is the best thing about your company that people might not know about?
A: The company is led by a team of former CarGurus employees and the founder, Jason Abrahams, launched the business during grad school out of MIT’s delta v program and the Martin Trust Center for MIT Entrepreneurship.
