Below is our recent interview with Michael Errin Rios, CEO of Webster Dental Care:

Q: Could you provide our readers with a brief introduction to Webster Dental Care?

A: Webster Dental Care (“WDC”) provides basic and specialized dental service at our 11 locations. Founded in 1976 by Dr. Steven Rempas, WDC has grown to be a leading provider of outstanding dental care in the Chicago area. But WDC is not resting on its laurels. We strive daily for consistent improvement by mentoring staff and encouraging their continuing education.

WDC pioneered clinics that offer both general and specialized dentistry for the convenience and comfort of our patients. Our 88 dentists, specialists, and hygienists provide excellent patient-centered care. The proven success of WDC’s commitment to patient service also powers our long-range plan to serve as many communities and demographics as possible. Our greatest reward is to see our patients smile.

Q: Can you tell us something about your 11 locations?

A: Webster Dental Care expanded from a single location to our current 11 clinics that serve communities where there are needs and opportunities. In some locations, the principal need is for basic dental care and related specialties. In other communities, patients also seek advanced procedures. WDC provides family and cosmetic dentistry, oral surgery, periodontics, endodontics, orthodontics, and pediatric dentistry. In all cases, WDC strives to build a patient-first atmosphere where service, comfort, convenience, and affordability are emphasized.

Q: Are you seeking dental professionals who are interested in joining your team?

A: We are actively seeking dental professionals who are interested in joining our outstanding team. More than 56 dentists have found success and professional fulfillment with us. We are eager to talk with dentists who are energized and motivated by each patient whose smile of satisfaction makes them smile too. Q: What can we expect from Webster Dental Care in the next 6 months: What are your plans?

A: WDC will continue in the next 6 months to deliver convenient, patient-focused dental service at our 11 clinics. Concurrently, we are studying opportunities and building resources to bring our model of comprehensive, comfortable, and affordable dentistry to a community near you.

Q: What is your message to dental practice owners interested in merging or selling their practice?

A: We understand the needs of dentists who want to merge or sell their practices. We respect and honor the attachments that a dental practice owner has forged with his or her patients and staff over many years. We realize also that you may want to continue working because you enjoy and are energized by your ability to relieve pain, to improve dental health, and to bring smiles to your patients’ faces.

Q: A prospective patient makes an appointment at a Webster Clinic: What can he or she expect?

A: Whether the person is a first-time or returning patient, he or she can expect to be treated always as an individual and a person rather than as an economic unit or situation to be processed. A patient can expect to be received on the phone or in-person by front-line staff with a smile in their voice and on their face. Patients can expect staff to focus on them with a welcoming and cordial manner.

The same atmosphere prevails when a patient moves from check-in to a hygienist or dentist for next-step treatment. At every moment our goals are to lower anxiety and raise confidence by providing gracious, professional, and comfortable service to our patients.

CEO, Michael Errin Rios has broad leadership experience beginning with a 12-year military career with the rank of Captain, and continuing to a key position with the Las Vegas Global Economic Development Alliance. Michael then formed his own company specializing in advisory services to the health care industry. HIs experience with both brokering and managing hearth care services strongly positions him to lead Webster Dental Care.
