Q: Could you provide our readers with a brief introduction to your company?
A: Welcome to WellspringTV!! Remember the old days when music had a channel dedicated to great videos? Well WellspringTV wants to bring that back with a fresh approach. All the music on our channel will be unsigned, original bands from everywhere and anywhere. We want to make local music made from wherever in the world you are heard around the world. New submitted band videos will be added almost daily, check back often and see what’s new that just might be the song you fall in love with. If you are a band, venue or content creator drop us a line and we’ll see about adding you to our platform and rockin’ world wide. The founders of WellspringTV are venue owners and musicians themselves so we will work tirelessly to enhance and level the playing field for independent musicians in getting your music heard by a larger audience. Q: Any highlights on your recent announcement?
A: WellspringTV is geared toward indie musicians and content creators to be a hub of sorts to support and spread not only musicians but filmmakers, comedy, art of all kinds that may not be found on larger platforms that are dominated by the large streaming platforms that don’t give lesser known artists any recognition or air time.

Q: Can you give us more insights into your offering?
A: Initially we are taking band video submissions and streaming them for free in for lack of a better an MTV back when MTV actually had music videos fashion, along with live shows that are taped in our venue which has an 8 camera editing suite as well as high quality digital audio recording capability. This will expand into ticketed pay per view live streaming shows that generate revenue for the artists performing on stage to reach out to their fan base that perhaps cannot make it out to the live show. We also offer low cost video production for bands to come in and record demo videos on our stage to help promote their music on their own websites and other streaming platforms.
Q: What can we expect from your company in next 6 months?
A: What are your plans? We already have several monthly music related podcasts that will be produced/filmed here in the upcoming months that will feature indie artists with interviews and performances. We also have several what we call Wellspring Street Team content creators that will be providing us with content while out on tour interviewing musicians along the way. We also have comedy and variety shows scheduled for taping that will be filmed here as well as eventually offering the ability for indie short and feature film makers the ability to post their works on the platform in a pay per view capacity that perhaps don’t have the ability to distribute their films on the larger streaming network platforms.

Q: What is the best thing about your company that people might not know about?
A: I think the fact that all our content will be created by the artists to benefit the artists is what makes us different than most of the streaming platforms. While eventually their will be a nominal monthly subscription fee for viewers to access past archived live streams and recorded full show content to help us cover the operating expenses in hosting the platform and the bandwidth for WellspringTV, the bulk of funds raised will go directly into the artists pockets for their work. Be it a live musical performance with ticketed pay per view, be it a film, be it a comedy special, the performer or content creator sets their own pricing that is paid directly to them. The video submissions section will always be free to view with the artists website links to buy their music or merchandise included in the video.
