Winning Brand Explores New Horizons In The Cannabinoid System

Below is our recent interview with Jade Beutler, CEO at Emerald Health Bioceuticals:

Q: What’s it mean to win your second Nexty Award?

A: We’re thrilled to receive our second Nexty Award in just under two and half years by such a prestigious industry leader as the New Hope Network. To be voted on by a team of eight industry experts who recognize excellence in natural products among thousands of different brands, is an honor we don’t take lightly. Not only does it validate Endo Omega Vegan as an innovative nutritional supplement, but also confirms our mission to create products that instinctively support the endocannabinoid system (ECS) for optimal balanced health.

This recent honor is also particularly meaningful in the midst of the CBD craze, where we’ve been able to rise above with carefully calculated intention and design, scrupulous attention to detail, efficacy, science and education to offer consumers’ a more comprehensive approach to endocannabinoid health.

Q: How does Emerald work with the endocannabinoid system?

A: Our two product lines offers a new, multi-pronged approach to nourishing and activating the endocannabinoid system to maintain and restore balance to mind and body. We thoughtfully formulate our supplements with expertly-chosen ingredients and phytocannabinoids designed specifically to target the endocannabinoid receptor system.

Recently, we launched our Endo Omega line – the world’s first omega supplement formulated to provide the foundational building blocks needed to support the body’s production of omega-based endocannabinoids – the most powerful ECS activators. Many people don’t realize that we actually make endocannabinoids (“endo” meaning inside the body) which are our own versions of THC and CBD – the cannabinoids found in cannabis. These endocannabinoids need a constant supply of omegas to feed and support the ECS and our Endo Omega line does just that and then some. It’s emulsified for enhanced absorption and bioavailability with added MCT oil for brain and metabolism support – plus it tastes delicious.

Once the endocannabinoid system is nourished with omegas, it can be further supported with our condition-specific PhytoCann® line for consumers’ most common health concerns including sleep, anxiety, inflammation, mood, cognition and newly released – immunity. You can think of this line as the “vitamin” of the ECS, offering extra support when needed due to stress, depletion, illness or fatigue. Q: What’s your relationship like with your retailers?

A: Synergistic. We rely on our retail partners to help educate consumers on the ECS and how our products work to support this vital system. In return, we’re able to offer retailers nationwide sustainable, science-backed and 100% legal products that are drug-test and DSHEA complaint, and a powerful new way to treat consumers’ most common health concerns. We’re proud to be available in large retail chains such as Whole Foods Market, Chamberlains, Fruitful Yield, Akin’s and Lassen’s, to name a few, as well as our online retail partners including Amazon.com, Thrive Market, Lucky Vitamin and iHerb. We’re also distributed through KeHE, UNFI, Select Wellness, Palko, Super Natural and Presence Marketing.

Q: How do you educate your customers?

A: Education and awareness are two of the biggest components of our mission. Many consumers are either not familiar with the endocannabinoid system or are unaware of the variety of herbs and botanicals that serve as ECS activators. Our biggest outcome is to educate consumers, buyers and retailers on the endocannabinoid system, how it works, why it’s critical to support and ways to activate it without cannabis or hemp. This is manifested through video content and infographics on our five social media channels, through educational blogs and in-store demos and with retailer trainings conducted by our Director of Education.

Q: What’s your favorite success story from Emerald?

A: While industry recognition is always validating, the real success story comes from receiving overwhelming positive feedback from our customers. These are individuals who have struggled, some for most of their lives, with chronic insomnia, anxiety, pain and inflammation, mood, immunity and cognition; and have finally found an answer and relief in our products.
