Below is our recent interview with Sylvester Canasa, Marketing Director at REBCA:

Q: Could you provide our readers with a brief introduction to REBCA?

A: REBCA was the brainchild of a group of friends that saw a real need for change in the real estate industry. One of our founders worked in both the financial and real estate market for many years and decided to put his extensive knowledge and experience to work and created REBCA. From that moment on, the company’s goal has been to create technology-driven innovative solutions for the real estate industry. We are determined to make a marked difference in the way Proptech is seen and utilized within this massive industry.

Q: Can you give us insights into your features?

A: Our product, Real Estate Business Conducting Assistant or REBCA, is aimed at eliminating major inefficiencies in the current home purchase process for buying agents and their clients. With key features as MLS listing integration, tour scheduling with full property-to-property navigation and comprehensive post-showing comparison reports, our app ensures that agents spend less time on repetitive and tedious tasks and more time servicing their clients.

Q: Why is now the time for a technology solution like REBCA?

A: Proptech is here to stay. We have seen technology permeate into every aspect of both our personal and professional lives. The real estate industry is a massive well-established industry, ripe with opportunities for disruption. We firmly believe that REBCA and its genuine appreciation of the industry’s challenges and willingness to grow are at a good vantage point, ready and poised to put forward its innovative solutions to the real estate world.

Q: How has the real estate industry changed over the past few years?

A: With the advent of Proptech, we can safely say that the real estate industry is hungry for change. Technology can now be seen in every aspect of this industry and rightly so. Real estate professionals have the reputation of being an intelligent and competitive bunch, so they are keen on keeping up with today’s best tools and solutions. These solutions now often take the form of apps and platforms that seamlessly integrate into their day-to-day work lives, improving and elevating their level of professionalism and service. Consumers looking to buy or sell homes also now have a multitude of online and digital options that help them be better informed and educated about their options. We are firm believers that technology will not replace realtors, but realtors who utilize technology will replace the ones who don’t.”

A: 2020 will be a big year for REBCA. We will be launching our app within quarter one of 2020, and we are extremely excited to be able to share with the industry what we have been working on. We will start onboarding both individual agents and entire brokerages as clients throughout the year, all the while continuing to improve and update our product. We also hope to bring on key investors that will share our vision of how truly transformative REBCA can be for the industry. We are excited to grow our bottom line so that we can continuously invest in our team and our company for years to come.
