RevenueZen: Providing Peace Of Mind In Marketing And Sales For Small Businesses

Listen to this article

The main purpose of marketing is to advertise a brand or an idea to a targeted audience in a way that encourages them to take action (in this case, make a purchase.) That’s why businesses invest time and money into developing a solid marketing campaign.

Unfortunately, however, businesses try to tackle marketing in-house without the necessary resources, experience, or knowledge. In the end, they often waste marketing dollars and miss out on sales opportunities by investing in basic strategies that aren’t effective enough to scale or generate leads. That’s where service providers like RevenueZen prove beneficial. Check out this Q&A to learn more about this amazing brand:

Q: What is RevenueZen?

RevenueZen is a sales and marketing growth agency dedicated to figuring out how to best tell your brand’s story. That means a number of things. For some teams, it means helping build a scalable sales strategy, like copywriting and outbound messaging.

For others, it means heavy handed SEO work, website overhauls, blog building, and LinkedIn branding. We love helping individuals share their stories and tying it into their organization’s larger lead generation strategy. We’re a group of meaningful content marketing, lead-gen, social selling obsessed folks living out our oat milk fantasies in Portland, OR.

Q: What resources does the company rely on to provide quality services to clients?

A: We love learning from other thought leaders in the industry. We’re always down to learning about new software and programs that can help us better serve our clients. Innovation is what we live for, as long as there are trackable, measurable ways to see results. That’s something we also instill in all our clients. Have a system, test it out, iterate on it, and constantly measure. If it doesn’t work.. that’s fine! But you need to know why it didn’t work and understand the metrics around that statement.

Q: Can you provide some examples of how RevenueZen has improved the marketing and/or sales processes of small businesses?

A: Carevoyance is a small business offering a sales platform to medical tech companies that relies on the services of RevenueZen for meaningful growth. The goal was to create evergreen content that would attract their target audience and generate more leads (to subsequently boost sales).

The company was trying to manage marketing in-house but didn’t have the staff, experience, or resources, needed to achieve positive results. The leadership team was dabbling in the company’s marketing, but it wasn’t enough. They launched their company website and blog using inbound marketing strategies discovered through research, but needed to take it further if they wanted to stand out amongst others in the space.

Unfortunately, the workload became too much and with already-busy plates, there wasn’t enough time to dedicate to blogging and good SEO. So, they turned to RevenueZen for results. Working directly with Carevoyance’s leadership team, RevenueZen went above and beyond what their clients expected.

RevenueZen went to work developing keyword portfolios, creating content calendars, and enhancing their client’s website with newly implemented SEO solutions. They also dedicated writers who specialized in healthcare and technology to develop meaningful content with effective SEO practices to support their inbound marketing strategies.

Using proven lead generation strategies, RevenueZen was also able to help Carevoyance generate more authentic leads. In just a few months of working with RevenueZen, Carevoyance saw an increase in organic website traffic by 1000%, visit-to-lead conversion rates by 180%, and a jump to the top of search engine page results for more than 600 keywords.

Q: In the wake of the pandemic, what has RevenueZen done to provide support for clients and/or employees?

A: We really became a sounding board for a lot of our clients at the beginning of all this. They wanted to know how they should respond, what should they change.. they really were looking for any solid ground and just someone to give them an answer. While we don’t always have the answers, we do know how to ask questions and help people come to conclusions that’ll work best for them.

Q: What plans does RevenueZen have for the future?

A: We’re in the process of early releasing two different softwares that we can’t go too into detail about, but let’s just say they’re going to totally change the Social Selling game..

Q: Lastly, are there any fun facts you’d like others to know about RevenueZen?

A: Everyone on the team is passionate about something else, and we’re all really supportive of each other. We have a teammate who owns her own event production company in upstate New York; one of our team members is a Pokemon obsessed inventor, one of our team members is a pop star and he goes by Jame Doe. Our CMO is a published author, our CEO plays guitar and does aero-yoga. We all have these wildly different facets of our lives and we take the things we love and find little ways to bring them into the work we do with clients.

RevenueZen may have only been on the scene for a few years now, but in that short timeframe, they’ve made a significant impact in helping small businesses from various industries to reach their target sales and marketing goals. By working with leadership teams, the growth agency has been able to develop marketing and sales processes that generate results.
