Squadron 2 Flight School Provides FAA 141 Or 61 Flight Training Curriculum To Make The Student Successful At Passing Their Pilots Certificates

Listen to this article

Squadron 2 is a custom flight school and a flying club. Below is our recent interview with Clayton Conrad, Chief Pilot at Squadron 2 Flight School:

Q: For those who haven’t heard of it, what is the best way to describe Squadron 2 Flight School?

A: We meet the students’ requirements by matching it to the FAA Part 141 or Part 61 flight training curriculum, thereby ensuring the student is successful at achieving their pilot certifications and ratings. Furthermore we are a flying club where the club member can rent the aircraft for personal use like weekend getaways and trips.

Q: Can you tell us something more about your training programs? Can anyone apply?

A: We use the FAA 141 program for professional flight students and students wanting a well defined curriculum. For students that are looking for specific licenses or a more relaxed training method we also use FAA part 61 general aviation training. Anyone can apply. There are medical requirements for attaining a flight license but most people have no problem with them. “For people with medical or physical disabilities, we do provide specialized flight training if needed.”

Q: What makes you a leader in international flight training?

A: We have a large number of international students that attain their flight ratings through us. In addition, many come back for additional training or rentals. We have worked with several countries throughout the world, including Korea, China, and India. Because we are a custom flight school and club we can adjust the training to meet the students exact needs.

Q: What types of aircrafts are available in your fleet?

A: We provide training in both Cessna and Piper aircraft. We also provide multiengine flight training and for club members we have advanced aircraft like the Bonanza, C-182 and C-210 for longer trips.
