Q: Could you provide our readers with a brief introduction to Soulidifly?
A: Soulidifly Productions is full feature film, stage and TV production company. We produce original shows in addition to books and music. We also produce SoulVision Magazine and SoulVision.TV. We have 7 films in the market and will be releasing 2-3 more this year.
Q: You’ve recently announced that you have been partnered with TRIAL X FIRE, LLC, the distribution branch of Urban Home Entertainment; can you tell us something more?
A: UHE’s Trial X Fire branch recently acquired our films Joseph and Unity Ride for worldwide distribution. Both films are available on Amazon Prime. Additionally, Joseph just won one of the top prizes at the “African Oscars.” We won the “Best Diaspora Film Narrative” at the 2020 African Movie Academy Awards (AMAA). Joseph tells the story of a young Caribbean doctor who has to look to the past to find solutions for his future. It’s an intense drama about roots and the importance of heritage.
Q: Can you give us more insights into your services?
A: We tell our stories from an achievement narrative instead of a prism of sorrows. Too often when women and minorities get to share their stories on the big screen, it’s from the sadness of our experience. This approach to media does not often yield inspiration or a zeal for what is possible. In contrast to the status quo, we hope our films will encourage people to become the best version of themselves because they will see what is possible in our films, books and other productions.
Recommended: Q: What can we expect from Soulidifly in the first half of 2021?
A: We are launching The Global IKON with Boon Castle Media & Entertainment (see www.theglobalikon.com). IKON will invite amateur performers to submit their music for an opportunity to become a global star. We will release Freedom’s Path and a film called A Day To Die (currently being shot in the US). We will release 3-4 books and hope to land deals for 3 major films featuring A-list talent. Last, once the theaters open back up, we will launch PreShow (our movie market app) and PrePlay (our gaming market app). We’re staying pretty busy.
Q: What’s the best thing about Soulidifly that people might not know about?
A: Our secret sauce is a team of veteran collaborators with over 250 years of combined business, film and media experience. Having a seasoned team working on fresh ideas makes all of the difference. We know what’s possible and we are also willing to push the envelope. One hundred percent of our films have distribution. All of our books get published. Over 100,000 people see our magazine and TV network each month. We’re cooking with grease!
