Stephen Andrew Stepaniuk is a travel blogger who shares his experiences with the world through photos. As a successful consultant who operates out of Boston, he is often on the road visiting innumerable states around the U.S. Moreover, he has been to many international countries as well.

A: Stephen Andrew Stepaniuk Industries is my outlet for sharing photos from my trips with all of my followers. As a blogger who focuses on the traveling niche, I capture my experiences through the camera lens. This allows me to showcase my adventures in the most accurate form and express my creativity. After all, photography lets me manipulate a lot of inputs in order to create a beautiful product.
I also rely on this platform to share my thoughts with all the readers who are interested in my opinion. For instance, most of my photos are accompanied by short descriptions and personal advice for those visiting the same area.
Q: Could you explain what made you launch your travel blogging career and how you made it profitable?
A: Well, it was a combination of a few different factors. First, I have been traveling frequently for quite some time now. My job requires me to visit many different states and even countries. Moreover, I have a history of living with host families and learning foreign languages. When this was combined with my job as a consultant, I realized that it gave birth to a perfect opportunity to do the job that I love while also practicing a hobby that I am passionate about.
The profitability came around after I established my brand online and made my presence known on social media websites like Facebook, Instagram, Linkedin, and more. This is where some advertising campaigns came in and I started getting offers to partner up with successful businesses.
Q: How does your services differ from other travel bloggers?
A: I think that my dedication to integrating with the cultures of the places that I visit truly differentiates me. When I visited Germany, I made it a priority to learn the language and communicate with the local population. Moreover, I use many state-of-the-art resources such as a pocket-sized, DSLR camera. Meaning, there is absolutely no time when I am unable to take a picture that I want to retain. This type of accessibility makes my blogs very consistent as I seldom fail to back all of my comments with real-life imagery.
Q: Travel blogging is a very competitive market. How did you get where you are today?
A: Well, establishing Stephen Stepaniuk as a brand versus a typical consultant was not easy. As you said, this is indeed an extremely competitive market because almost anyone with a camera can be a photo blogger. Additionally, those who happen to travel are immediately eligible for travel blogging as well. Thus, the number of people who do this as a side job is incredibly high. What helped me overcome such barriers to entry was my personality and dedication. I started off by helping people get to know the real me. Photos were just a byproduct.
Q: What can we expect from Stephen Andrew Stepaniuk Industries in the future?
A: I plan on visiting the popular Cherry Blossom Festival in Japan as well as spending a winter in the city of Harbin in China. These are going to be my upcoming trips and I will leverage them to capture many monumental pieces of the culture from these two countries. After that, I intend to visit India and Dubai sometime in 2019. Even though the preparation for these trips is already underway, there are many variables that have yet to be addressed.
