Q: Ryan, how would you describe Dashlane in your own words?
A: Dashlane is the world’s best password solution. It creates strong passwords for you, securely stores them, and automatically logs you in to every website. This means that your digital life is protected, and that you save an incredible amount of time as you no longer have to remember and type in all of your credentials.
Most people don’t think they have a password problem because as our lives have become more digital we’ve just accepted them as part of the process. In reality, almost everyone has weak passwords, passwords they can’t remember, or in most cases, a combination of the two. It’s the biggest problem on the Internet that nobody realizes exists.

Q: Could you please give us more insights into Dashlane´s functionality?
A: The best part about Dashlane is it’s universality, meaning that it works on all websites and all devices. You can use Dashlane on iOS, Android, Mac, and PC, and with every major browser these devices support. Additionally, Dashlane has an amazing digital wallet feature that lets you store a variety of online payment methods, such as a credit or bank account, and then let’s you quickly them to speed through the online checkout process.
The product also has some incredibly powerful features, such as our Password Changer that lets users automatically change their passwords for 100’s of the world’s top websites at the same time with just a few clicks inside of Dashlane.

Q: What are main benefits of using Dashlane’s payment system? How is it different than existing solutions?
A: The greatest benefit of Dashlane’s Digital Wallet is the speed of checkout. Users literally never touch the keyboard when checking out as Dashlane will let you select which information to autofill. This means you simply click your preferred billing and shipping addresses, along with your desired payment method, and Dashlane will automatically fill in the information. Everyone has experienced that terrible feeling of having to go retrieve a credit card in another room and type in line after line of information just to make a simple online transaction. Q: You’ve recently announced a $22.5 million funding round; what are your plans?
A: The funding will be used for a variety of initiatives, all of which are centered around providing our users and even more dynamic online identity management experience. We’ll continue working hard to develop and improve our product on all platforms as that is, and will always be, the most important aspect of Dashlane. The company will also start unveiling more product offerings geared towards users in the enterprise and business spaces. Additionally, we’re working on partnerships with financial institutions that will provide their clients custom Dashlane experiences, particularly in regards to the Digital Wallet.

Q: How would you convince the reader to start using Dashlane?
A: It’s pretty simple… Dashlane is easy to use, keeps your data safe, and saves you an incredible amount of time. There is a notion that security and utility apps can’t be gorgeous and are difficult to use. At Dashlane, we believe the convenience and security don’t have to be mutually exclusive. We have an app that passes the most strenuous security standards, but is simple enough for 90 year olds to learn in a matter of minutes.
