Q: What’s STAMP Software’s story?
A: My brother had a brilliant idea and too much time. He wrote a small script to transfer tracks from Spotify to Apple Music (using excel files as data source). His small script was featured on Product Hunt and mentioned the same day in major online newspapers and magazines. It was free app and it still got 100€ in donations at the first day.
I knew it would sell! Seeing that people already gave us money, even that they did not have to. My friend Christoph and I joined my brother and the next day, after sleepless night, we have released native MacOS app. We had been improving app ever since.

Q: What is Stamp Music Importer?
A: Stamp gives your total ownership of your own data. In today’s times a lot of companies are trying to lock you in, and in our case its the Spotify, Rdio, Deezer and others. There is no easy way to export list of your favourite music and playlist. We gave people this option: with Stamp they can export and import their playlist from various sources like Apple Music, Spotify, Deezer, YouTube.

Q: What kinds of feedback are you getting from users?
A: Everyone thanks us for saving them a lot of time. More and more people are asking to add Amazon Music, Pandora or Tidal etc.
We are suprised to see people moving now to differnt service only because Stamp helped them! It was too much hassle before for them!

Q: What are your plans for the future?
A: Since beginning we had been supporting MacOS and Windows.
Recently we have released iOS version and we are working right now on Android.
We also plan to add more intergrations to all our platforms. We are missing Amazon Prime Music, Tidal and few others. The market is growing so we have to keep up.
Q: How would you convince the reader to start using Stamp Music Importer?
A: I don’t think we need to convince anyone that app saves so much time. If you switch to different music streaming service, Stamp is a simple must-have.
