Los Angeles Based Mediasans Reaches 11 Million Users Worldwide Through App Design And Task Management Tools

Below is our recent interview with Will Taylor the Founder of Mediasans:

Q: Let’s start with your background. What were you doing before starting Mediasans?

A: I was a lead UI designer for an enterprise video conferencing startup based in San Francisco, CA. Prior to that, I worked with various startups and fortune500 companies creating web and mobile experiences for consumer facing products and eCommerce websites. During this period, I would work hand and hand with stakeholders as well as create research programs to gather data and feedback from users of our products.

Q: You’ve designed Gone, the most robust Task Management tool for mobile devices; could you tell us something more?

A: Sure! Gone started as a means of us managing our projects on the go. Many task managements applications that are designed for agile teams are mainly web focused, and do not bring the same user experience in a mobile friendly manner. Gone was a way of us re-imagining how that interaction would work in a friendly manner that anyone could pick up and immediately improve their day to day workflow, regardless of the use case.

Q: What makes you the best choice?

A: Many companies want to provide their users with a meaningful experience that will increase conversions and interactions, but have a hard time beginning that process. In our experience of creating close to 50 applications and reaching more than 11 million users worldwide, we understand many of the pitfalls that our clients face and help to provide input and feedback to lead them in the right direction. For instance, creating a great looking mobile app only goes so far with a broken system and experience, so we really take our time in understanding our users so that we can provide the best possible interaction.

Q: What are your plans for the future?

A: Our plan is to continue to expand our services and provide products to help our clients get the most out of their ideas. Tech, design, and consumer facing platforms are steadily changing, so we will do our due diligence in staying on top of the newest innovations and trends to make the most valuable experiences for end users.
