Q: Could you provide our readers with a brief introduction to your company?
A: College Apps Abroad is a San Diego-based educational consultancy that helps students across North America apply for college or graduate school outside the U.S. in places such as the UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand and more. I offer personalized support as well as self-guided study modules for the more independent student trying to navigate the process on their own.
Q: Any highlights on your recent announcement?
A: I am now offering a self-guided study module on “Applying to the UK: Everything You Need to Know” for students interested in applying for college or graduate school in the United Kingdom. For only $49, students can go at their own pace and learn the recommended timeline, admissions requirements, what universities look for, what it’s like to study there and more.

Q: Can you give us more insights into your offering?
A: The module also features interviews with UK admissions representatives and former students from universities like King’s College London, Sheffield, Northumbria, and more.
Q: What can we expect from your company in the next 6 months? What are your plans?
A: I am looking to expand my offerings with further modules on applying to universities in places like Ireland, Australia and New Zealand.

A: I lived overseas for almost nine years in Ireland, the UK, Australia and Brazil, and after these experiences studying and working abroad, I realized other people could benefit so much by doing the same, but most people didn’t know how or where to start. That’s why I decided to start a consulting company, College Apps Abroad, to provide that customized support and to help others get over the line without making some of the same mistakes I made along the way. I help with all aspects of the application process, such as creating a list of programs, clarifying entry requirements, financial aid and scholarship support and personal statement guidance, to name a few. And now that tuition for colleges in the U.S. continues to rage out of control, more and more Americans are considering studying overseas to save time and money in their degrees and to just have a different type of college experience.
