Q: Could you provide our readers with a brief introduction to EAM Group?
A: EAM Group is a multimodal asset-based transportation company with over a decade of experience providing expert analyses and optimal supply chain solutions nationally and internationally. Headquartered in Chicago with facilities in Los Angeles, New York, Miami and Houston, EAM Group helps organizations ranging from Fortune 100 to small distribution networks reduce their cost for logistics and at the same time “super-size” their customer-related reach.
By incorporating advanced software with other solutions, EAM Group helps businesses optimize tracking/inventory control, shipping and receiving, and order fulfillment, including reporting and EDI connectivity. Our overall goal is to help those businesses reduce fuel costs, labor expenses and shipping delays for a stronger ROI.

Q: You’ve recently announced that you’re enhancing your commitment to offer reliable, cost-effective drayage services in Chicago; could you tell us something more?
A: There are so many factors that can make drayage shipping complex, confusing and costly…port congestion; weather; capacity constraints; federal and state laws and regulations; or even unexpected carrier fees and surcharges. It all adds up to costing a business more money. EAM Group has enhanced our ability to incorporate advanced software with other solutions to help optimize tracking/inventory control, shipping and receiving, and, order fulfillment including reporting and EDI connectivity.
EAM Group recognizes that every customer has unique needs. We have enhanced our ability to provide each of our customers with a personalized, strategic logistics plan that brings our operations network to their transportation needs.
Q: Tell us more about your technology. What makes it unique?
A: EAM Group uses an advanced Warehouse Management software to handle operations through all warehouse stages and includes both reporting and EDI connectivity. We also utilize industry-leading software, partnered with best practices, to facilitate the interactions between a customer’s order management system and their warehouse or distribution centers. EAM Group also leverages technology to provide our customers with expert analysis and optimal solutions for almost any supply chain challenge.
Q: What kinds of services do you provide to your clients?
A: EAM Group provides a range of freight services to meet the varying needs of our customers. In addition to drayage, we provide domestic transportation (including LTL and refrigerated shipments); heavy hauling; cross-border transportation services to Canada and Mexico; crating and packing; trans-loading; local pickup and delivery; bonding, warehousing and distribution; equipment, machinery, and commodity transportation; specialty crating; and our newest service – white glove delivery.

Q: What are your plans for the future?
A: EAM Group plans to expand into most major cities domestically through franchises, and we’re going global. We’re working with Mexico and El Salvador in the near term and exploring other locations in South America as well.
