Q: What is InstaHealthy?
A: InstaHealthy is a Healthy Vending and Micro Market business, grounded by core values that put people at the forefront of everything we do. Q: How did the InstaHealthy business venture begin?
A: Identifying a need for organics in schools, at work and everywhere else, InstaHealthy was launched late 2015 as a start-up operation in San Diego and has expanded to numerous markets in the U.S. with multiple Partners. With our core values engrained into everything we do, we’ve grown quickly, while still maintaining the important elements InstaHealthy has held true to since its inception.
Q: What distinguishes InstaHealthy as a business in the healthy vending industry?
A: Our Core Values; they define us. Our number one priority is not making the highest profit, but rather, making our Partners successful; it drives us. In an effort to stay true to those values and the core of our purpose, all products placed in our InstaHealthy Vending Machines and Micro Markets are held to the standard of being free of preservatives and high-fructose corn syrup. Due, in part, to the fact that: according to the Journal of Health Economics, 360,000 Americans die every year from diseases related to obesity, and employers are spending more than $4 billion on sick days related to health issues prompted by poor diets.
We also offer state-of-the art technology, with machines featuring a cloud-based management system, a cashless payment acceptor, Energy Star-rated machines and a Sensit-guaranteed delivery program. The POS experience also offers the only cloud-based self-checkout kiosk with an app market – boasting more than 100 consumer and business-oriented programs – along with social media integration.
Q: What has been your biggest challenge over the past year?
A: We’re still in start-up mode, so we’re working diligently to control our growth by keeping it slow, smart and steady. This includes ensuring thoroughness and taking time to select the right Partners to represent the InstaHealthy brand, as well as placing machines in locations proven to be mutually successful for both customers and the Partners.
Q: What does InstaHealthy look for in its Partners?
A: Each situation, person and region comes with different strengths and challenges, so we don’t operate with a one-size-fits-all mentality. With that said, there are qualities we look for in all Partners that we know will likely bring about a successful working relationship and business. One of those qualities being able to passionately get behind our socially-responsible mission and see the wave of change they have the opportunity to make with this venture.
Q: What does InstaHealthy look for in its locations?
A: Location selection is key to ensure success for our Partners and provide value to the location itself; we want it to be a win-win. For InstaHealthy, it’s always been – and will continue to be – about quality over quantity. We don’t secure locations and sign contracts just to check them off the list of what we’ve promised our Partners, but we look for those key aspects about our locations that we know will help our Partners thrive in their business.
Our location procurement team seeks placement for our Partner’s Healthy Vending machines in locations with consistent traffic, such as education facilities, sports complexes, fitness studios and hospitals. The self-serve Micro Markets are best suited for corporate locations with more than 150 employees, which are also procured by the InstaHealthy USA team.

Q: What trends are you seeing that set InstaHealthy up for success?
A: Increased consumer knowledge of health, nutrition and overall wellness has caused a deep desire to have easy access to healthier options; this has resulted in an overwhelming response to our location procurement efforts. Most people don’t realize they can have healthy options at their fingertips, in places they frequent most often, so bringing awareness of InstaHealthy’s offerings is key.
Q: What does the future hold for InstaHealthy?
A: We’re on a mission to change the “vending game” and what consumers have grown to expect from convenient, accessible options up until this point.
