Kyte Develops A Fleet-Logistics Platform That Lets Consumers Rent Vehicles Through Their App Or Website

Listen to this article

Kyte built a fleet-logistics platform that lets consumers rent vehicles through their app or website. Below is our recent interview with Francesco Wiedemann, Co-founder of Kyte:

Q: Can you give us more insights into your platform?

A: The vehicles, which are located in hubs throughout a city center, are delivered by gig economy workers right to the renters’ home. Kyte also handles the pickup and refuels the vehicle for no extra charge.

The fleet operations platform virtualizes assets, replaces physical branch infrastructure and removes vehicles from dense urban environments until they’re actually needed.

Q: You’ve recently raised $9 Million in a new funding; can you tell us something more?

A: We are using the current funding to roll out into more cities in North America but it’s a global market and we believe in the universal application of the product.

– no refuelling needed before return, we fuel up for you at local rates
– continuous chat support throughout the booking and the whole trip
– digital-first experience compared to traditional car rental companies
