Media Company Wickfire Leverages Marketing Technology To Create Relevant And Dynamic Content

Wickfire is an online media company that owns and runs a number of popular websites including TheCoupon.Co, an online coupon site for deal-savvy shoppers, and Highlight Reviews, a product and service comparison site. Wickfire has leveraged these sites and search engine advertising to generate over $200 Million in total sales for its clients.

Below is our interview with Katy Atlas, Chief Strategy Officer & General Counsel at Wickfire:

Q: You’ve been named a finalist in the International Performance Marketing Awards (IPMA) for Best Performance Marketing Technology; could you tell us something more?

A: Our technology is leading the industry in creating dynamic, customized content that is responsive to users’ searches and our advertisers’ needs. We are thrilled to be recognized in this very competitive category.

Q: Who are your clients and what market are you targeting?

A: We work with 2,000 e-commerce product and service vendors. Our clients are spread across nearly every area of consumer products and range from small online businesses that get a few visitors every day to Fortune 500 companies that receive hundreds of thousands. Our coupon site has received visitors from over 200 countries, although the vast majority of our traffic is US-based, and our review site just passed 100,000 unique visitors last month.

Q: What advantage does Wickfire have over its competitors?

A: Our superior technology and lean, nimble team give us a huge advantage over larger competitors with bigger budgets. We lead with our technology and are always trying to build scalable products to help our clients and improve our business.

Q: What are your plans?

A: We are launching lead capture technology this quarter. We expect that leads will allow us to reach more users, particularly those focused on large life decisions like buying or improving their homes. We always strive to provide accurate, helpful information to our visitors and expect that leads will allow us to reach new customers and expand our online presence even further.
