Q: Could you provide our readers with a brief introduction to Cohn Legal?
A: While we have clients in a variety of industries, we have a particular expertise in the Food/CPG space. We also have quite a good deal of experience in fashion and cosmetics and work several notable companies in the Hemp/CBD industry. We love to work with startups and entrepreneurs and feel passionately about the importance of helping new business launch their companies safely and with confidence.

Q: What you can do and how you can help startup companies?
A: We help our clients in a variety of ways. Startups typically engage with us upon launch or slightly after launch and nearly always request our trademark services. A trademark, of course, is a name, logo, or slogan that when tethered to a good or service, allows a consumer to understand the company which sells the product. It is critically important for startups to protect their brand assets and we advise our clients in all capacities relating to trademark law.
Q: Who is your ideal client and why?
A: Our ideal client is a startup with a founder or founders that have passion and enthusiasm for the product or service that they sell. We like to work with companies that have developed a new product or a new system to deal with an existing problem. The product or service does not particularly matter to us and indeed as a general matter, it is the commitment and abilities of the team members that will ultimately determine the success of the company.
Q: What can we expect from Cohn Legal in next 6 months?
A: Cohn Legal, PLLC will continue to work with interesting and innovative companies. We are increasingly servicing clients in other countries and providing intellectual property services in particular to clients in Switzerland. We look forward to what this year has in store for our law firm.
