Below is our interview with John Ruggiero and Michelle Luchese, co-founders and co-CEOs of Manly Bands and Rosie Ray:

Q: Could you provide our readers with a brief introduction to your company?

A: Manly Bands is the fastest growing direct-to-consumer e-commerce retailer of unique men’s wedding rings. We make it easy for couples to order a ring that looks (and fits) perfect on every man with more than 300 unique styles made from dozens of non-traditional materials like dinosaur bone, meteorite and Jack Daniel’s whiskey barrel.

We started Manly Bands after our own issues with finding the perfect wedding ring for our marriage, and after succeeding in growing the largest online brand in this space we’ve decided to create a brand for women looking for greater personalization and unique materials, Rosie Ray!

Q: Any highlights on your recent announcement?

A: We’re excited to launch our latest venture, Rosie Ray, our new women’s focused brand. Since we started, people of all genders have been asking for more personalization options in their wedding rings, where the traditional market fails to compete. Now women can have a wedding band that matches their personality with unique gemstones and alternative materials including meteorite, antler and even dinosaur bone!

Q: Can you give us more insights into your offering?

A: The men’s wedding ring market has seen tremendous growth in the last few years, and as the brand-leader, Manly Bands has been helping to push the boundaries of what men can choose for their ring. While many brands exist for women, the innovation has been focused on the same materials in varying designs. We see an opportunity to disrupt the women’s market by giving them more customization options in designing their own rings that are more affordable thanks to our ecommerce platform.

Q: What can we expect from your company in next 6 months? What are your plans?

A: At the moment, our main focus is on rolling out the Rosie Ray brand ahead of what is shaping up to be one of the busiest wedding seasons in memory. We’re also seeing huge traction with Manly Bands for Father’s Day, as couples tend to replace wedding rings during this holiday.

Q: What is the best thing about your company that people might not know about?

A: Everyday we get to help couples all over the world make their special day even better, and we feel blessed that this gets to be our day job! Because of this, we feel that giving back to communities facing hardship is the best way to stay committed to the work we do, so every month we commit to diverting a portion of our proceeds to benefit organizations and people who need the extra support.
