Mettrr Designs, Builds And Manages Professional Web Sites For Small Business

Below is our recent interview with Sebastian Lewis, CEO at Mettrr:

Q: Could you provide our readers with a brief introduction to Mettrr?

A: Mettrr is an automated DIFM “do it for me” full-service website provider. Our mission is to allow SMEs to compete online without dealing with the traditional pitfalls of building a DIY ‘do it yourself’ website or high costs of setting up a website with an agency. We estimate only 10% of people complete a self built business website – and with over 40m SMEs in the UK and USA alone – there is a huge need for Mettrr.

Q: How exactly does it work?

A: A customer schedules a phone call with one of our set up specialists. The call can last 20 – 40 minutes depending on the customer. We ask non-technical questions to get to know their business, these details are used by our smart technology and expert teams to produce a website suitable for their company needs. We provide everything and set up the website in 48 hours. Everything is included for one monthly low cost fee: website build, design, content, domain, hosting, email and unlimited changed done for you for 12 months.

Q: Can you give us insights into your pricing plans?

A: To help SME’s who often have limited cash flow we offer monthly payments and no setup costs. We try to be as affordable as possible whilst offering a valuable product to customers, the downside of this is we often get accused of being too cheap for what we offer, so, “what’s the catch? We want our prices to be clear and transparent with no hidden fees. Currently, a website is £34.99/$64.99USD per month with £70/$194 off the price if a customer pays annually.

Q: Why should every business be present online?

A: The days of yellow pages being a source of business are dead and gone. The world is becoming increasingly competitive, and companies who are not prepared to adapt to the market will struggle. Unfortunately for SME’s they are often working long hours, and are experts in their field, not in websites, so despite the importance, there are a lot of people being left behind.

Q: What are your clients saying about you? Are they happy?

A: I take a lot of pride in the positive feedback we get from our customers. We have been able to help some small struggling customers turn their business around. The most common feedback we get is the initial nervousness around talking to us and getting set up. Past experiences of most customers dealing with website developers or website building platforms, is mostly negative, asking technical questions and taking advantage of the fact they are not sure what they need in a business website. Our set up is based around getting to know a business and what we can do to help. Our customer interactions are very friendly, and the end result speaks for its self.

Q: What are your plans for the future?

A: I believe ‘do it for me’ (DIFM) is the future, and Mettrr wants to be leading the charge. We are currently researching and testing ways we can help small businesses. Websites are at the core of what we do, but the future is likely to be much more including helping customers with driving traffic, picking up the phone for them and helping them with billing, accountancy and insurance. Whilst, unfortunately, I can’t go into details currently, keep an eye on our social media for some exciting news about Mettrr in the near future.
