Q: Motionloft was recently selected as a 2017 Red Herring Global Winner; What does this achievement mean to the team?
A: Being selected as a Red Herring Top 100 Global winner was an enormous honor. Red Herring’s experts have been evaluating the world’s startups for decades and to be included with the likes of Alibaba, Google, Skype, and Twitter says a lot about where we are going. Motionloft has since received attention from prominent global enterprises and research analysts in several industries as a result of our winning this prestigious competition.

Q: What Developments are on the horizon for Motionloft?
A: We have a creative, talented group at Motionloft. We are addressing a market that is changing before our eyes. What was the latest and greatest technology yesterday, is getting commoditized, as we speak. Motionloft works on stretching the limits every day in our computer vision software. We understand our clients need to quantify the behavior of people in and around their spaces and are very excited to begin delivering predictive analytics able – to project street traffic and staffing needs, based on weather forecasts.
We are also working to teach our sensor how to collect demographic data. By developing a set of proprietary classifiers to identify age and sex demographic trends, we empower retailers and business to better target services to their customers. And we are doing all this at a level of accuracy and consistency that’s approaching 100%.
