Below is our recent interview with Daniel Camilo, from NextSmartShip:

Q: Could you provide our readers with a brief introduction to your company?

A: NextSmartShip is a tech-centered GLOCAL logistic power house that strives to help DTC brands of different sizes to elevate their e-commerce business into the next big thing.

With a short history starting in 2019, the company has been helping thousands of global DTC brands, including many startups, to gain exceptional growth via its professional, stable, and affordable fulfillment services. It now delivers over a million packages per year to global destinations.

Q: Any highlights on your recent announcement?

A: The “DTC Accelerator Talks” will focus on accessibility and true practical value for DTC brands, and all of those involved. Meaning, we want to make future events as easily accessible to all as possible, and to have guests that can provide real and practical insights on how to improve a business. With over 12000 viewers, our first live summit was a success, but also our first run and test. There’s always more that can be improved, and we expect to expand on what we’ve done. Q: Can you give us more insights into your offering?

A: We expect to have an online landing page for the “DTC Accelerator Talks” within the month of October, and to have more events still this year. More updates will be provided as we near the dates.

Q: What can we expect from your company in next 6 months? What are your plans?

A: In general, we’ll vastly increase our bandwidth and abilities to better help more global DTC brands to grow and win, through adding core building blocks to their consumer experiences and lowering their operational costs to reach a higher business performance.

1) Firstly as mentioned in our release, we will be launching a regular special project called “DTCAT”, short for DTC(Direct to Consumers brands) Accelerator Talks, which is designed to provide resources and tools for global DTC brands.

2) Global DTC sellers will see a next-gen SAAS from us pretty soon, which could potentially save brands tons of money and time investment.

3) We’ll be launching a CSR campaign to raise awareness on green e-commerce for both sellers and consumers, hopefully more can realize the huge impact of a greener e-commerce.

4) On that, we’ll be updating our GREEN fulfillment solutions ongoingly, while keeping our strategy to provide merchants with various options at different cost levels so they can shift to a greener path easier.

5) Global merchants can expect a largely improved local fulfillment service.

Q: What is the best thing about your company that people might not know about?

A: 1) In fact many of our employees are from a marketing background so we tend to empathize with DTC brands and understand their needs naturally.

2) We are a quite unique company with a super diverse and vibrant culture which you’re unlikely to find in any other fulfillment company.
