Q: Could you provide our readers with a brief introduction to yourself?
A: I am a Certified Financial Planner in the Greater Toronto Area. I focus on personal finance for individuals and families and help business owners with Financial Planning. I use my over 20 years experience in Banking and Financial Services to guide clients in making good financial decisions.
Q: Any highlights on your recent announcement?
A: My book Pursuit of the Canadian Dream will be released on Monday June 26th, 2023. It’s a book that teaches youths, new immigrants and practically anyone about the fundamentals of the Canadian financial landscape. It covers pertinent topics like how to develop a good credit history, how to buy your first car, how to buy your first home, need for insurance, Wills and Powers of Attorney, filing income taxes, investing and more.
Q: Can you give us more insights into your offering?
A: As an immigrant myself it took years of trial and error and a lot of studying in finance to learn a lot of these principles and strategies. Reading this book will shorten the time it will take a youth or an immigrant to build a solid financial foundation. A lot of the things we do that are very normal in our society is completely new to immigrants from countries that don’t have a matured financial system. For example, not all countries have a credit system, and not all countries require their residents to file an income tax return. I have used a lot of practical examples from my personal and client experiences to simplify these concepts and how to do them properly.
Q: What can we expect from your book?
A: This book gives the basic knowledge you need in all the critical arears of finance as it relates to your everyday life. It will also make you aware of the opportunities and programs embedded in the system that unfortunately many people don’t learn in school or at home. Our financial system can seem quite daunting when trying to navigate it alone, but Pursuit of the Canadian Dream makes it more understandable.
Q: Is your book only for Canadians?
A: Absolutely not! While the book focuses on Canada and its financial systems, financial principles are the same globally. Everyone can benefit from the information in the book no matter where you are in the world. Some types of investments and governmental programs have different names in other parts of the world, but they attempt to do the same thing.

Q: What are your plans with the book?
A: My plan is to get the book into the hands of as many youths, immigrants, and everyday Canadians. When I taught money management classes in my community, my greatest compliment was when someone told me they used one of the lessons to achieve one financial goal or the other. My desire with this book is that readers prosper and achieve their Canadian dream.
Q. What is the best thing about your company that people might not know about?
A: My company is offering individual financial consultations with clients where I can answer any questions they may have. Some people need a sounding board for their financial ideas, some need guidance to the most effective way to do things and others need a hand holding. Our promise is to listen and provide sound recommendations.
