Q: Could you provide our readers with a brief introduction to your company?
A: Residential Assisted Living Academy TM is America’s premier training organization in this unique and specialized niche of opportunity. Launched in 2012 by entrepreneur / real estate investor Gene Guarino, Residential Assisted Living Academy TM has trained hundreds of investors, business owners and entrepreneurs in this new and exciting field of opportunity. With 77 million Baby Boomers preparing to retire over the next several decades, residential assisted living is a comfortable “home-style” alternative to institutional living such as a nursing home. This “silver tsunami” mega-trend makes for a huge financial opportunity for those prepared to position themselves for success. In 2021, when Gene Guarino passed away his daughter and heir Isabelle Guarino stepped up to take the company to the next level. She is carrying on Gene’s legacy and leaving a mark on this senior housing industry by helping students open one RAL at a time.

Q: Any highlights on your recent announcement?
A: With 77 million Baby Boomers in the country, this mega-trend cannot be stopped. The US Census estimates approximately 120,000 people each month are turning 85 and 70% of them need help with their activities of daily living. The opportunity of Residential Assisted Living is enormous. With the proven RAL Formula TM, we teach people how to find, fund, and fill their own Residential Assisted Living home for maximum cash flow. Whether you prefer in person education, online courses, webinars, or books, the RAL Academy has an option for everyone looking to get involved in this massive opportunity of senior housing. Using our proprietary hands off management system, you’ll learn how to control the RAL business – not the other way around.
Q: What can we expect from your company in next 6 months? What are your plans?
A: Over the next 6 months you can expect RALAcademy and the Impact Housing Group of Companies to continue to grow! Our 3-Day Fast track training will surely continue to sell out. We are set to launch an app for our students’ continued success on their journey to open RAL homes across the country. Our 6th annual RAL National Convention will take place in September with over 600 attendees, 50 vendors and 25+ speakers sharing the top tips and tricks to surviving and thriving in this exciting industry. It’s a can’t miss event! Our company Recovery Housing Academy will re-launch before the end of the year with a new face, content and perspective on opening a shared home for different categories of in-need persons. The Young Boss podcast will continue to launch weekly episodes inspiring young entrepreneurs and CEO’s to lead their businesses with vigor and inspiration. And the RAL National Association will continue their monthly virtual meet ups while providing legal support and group purchasing discounts to their members. Overall, we don’t plan on stopping any time soon and these next six months will be a continuation and rise of all the efforts made thus far.

Q: What is the best thing about your company that people might not know about?
A: The best thing about our company that people may not know is that we focus on homes that impact people, hence why we named our overarching company The Impact Housing Group. We only like to focus on opening, teaching and training others to open homes for people who are in need. Whether that be seniors in the coming silver tsunami or people with justice related issues, veterans, recovery needs, etc. Group homes have been dismissed and looked down upon for a long time due to lack of structure and bad business practices. We are actively working to change the face of this industry, to something that people can be proud to be a part of, to have next door to them and to invest in! At the Impact Housing group we focus on homes that make an impact – primarily seniors, but no discrimination here!
