Q: Could you tell us something more about the company and your history?

A: Digital Fuel is the Leader in the $5B IT Business Management sector. Digital Fuel is based in Los Angeles and is owned by Skyview Capital. Digital Fuel has staff and customers globally. Some of the other players in ITBM include Apptio, Service Now, and Upland Software.

Q: You’ve recently closed the acquisition of the vRealize Business Enterprise from VMware; tell us something more?

A: We acquired the VRealize Business Enterprise business because we see Digital Fuel as the leader in IT Business Management (ITBM). Digital Fuel was originally founded in 2000 and was one of the pioneers in ITBM. We see Digital Fuel gaining significant market share in the ITBM space which we forecast is growing at a 20%+ CAGR. Digital Fuel is led by Rick Bigelow, COO and General Manager. Jason Nienaber leads Sales and Marketing. Matt Thompson is SVP of Operations. VMware remains a stakeholder and channel partner.

Q: Who is your ideal customer and why?

A: Our ideal customer is the CTO,CIO, IT Manager, and/or CFO of Fortune-2000 enterprises. Companies with significant and complex IT budgets can best utilize Digital Fuels ITBM suite to understand, track, optimize, and plan their IT spend and true value of IT. We anticipate that our customers can save 10-20 percent of their IT spend by implementing our software and professional services. Forward-thinking, strategic IT leaders appreciate the power of our software.

Q: What can we expect from Digital Fuel in next six months?

A: Digital Fuel will rapidly grow our customer logos, channel partnerships, and sales & marketing initiatives globally.

We are looking for growth both organically and Inorganically through strategic acquisitions and partnerships.

We will also be issuing a new software release this year which offers enhanced UI/UX and visualization tools.

Q: What advantage does Digital Fuel have over its competitors?

A: Digital Fuel has recently taken customers from our competitors because of the accuracy and granularity of our product. Our experienced professional services team is able to efficiently on-board customers. This allows them to save dramatically on their IT spend, eliminate excess IT capacity, and improve IT planning and decision making. The accuracy and detail provided in our software allows customers to use the information in financial records, perform corporate chargebacks, and evaluate the information from numerous layers.
