Q: What is Robot Don and how does it work?
A: Robot Don is a machine learning tool that facilitates writing and hopefully brings some fun to text editing. We have created this software to make people better understand what they actually wrote. For students it is a free way to get their essays reviewed and pre-graded (in a way), content strategists can do text mining whilst bloggers can better understand their text relevance to the topics, etc. The main idea is that with the help of Robot Don you can see your text through the eyes of a machine. So, it does in-depth text analysis including:
1. Qualitative text analytics data and summaries;
2. Understanding of text relevance to the topics;
3. Plagiarism check;
4. Style and readability suggestions.

Q: What kind of feedback are you getting from your users?

Q: Edusson has recently started a Bug & Ideas Hunting Contest; tell us something more?
A: After the starting out with Robot Don we have been receiving bug reports and suggestions from different areas. So, to honor the bright external contributions that help us build a better product and to involve other students in this process, we decided to launch a scholarship – Bug & Ideas Hunting (BIH) Contest for Robot Don.
The Contest has already started and is held on a year round basis.
It works as a contest with a free participation of pre & postgraduate students and with a reward for their work. Awards range from a minimum of US$500 up to $2,500 with an unlimited reward pool. And there are no limits to the reward amount per a period of time (week, month, etc)
To participate participants shall test the our software and report shortfalls or areas of improvement in its operation.(there are no restrictions as to the nature of suggestions / ideas).

Q: What are your plans for the future?
A: We are planning to keep moving with Edusson, our essay writing advisory service:) Right now, we are busy with essay writing (50% of our operations), text editing & proofreading (30%), writing advisory and tutoring for ESL students (15% and growing), and live academic writing webinars & sessions (5% and growing).
As regards, the text editing software we are working on designing:
• Artificial Intelligence which will customize instruction through tone of voice;
• Option of coaching plan that will show how user’s writing is improving over time and generates tips based on long term information;
• Competition friendly interface so you can view your progress, get ranked in your circles and send out competitive challenges to your friends.
Furthermore, in near future Robot Don will support 7 languages (+ French, German, Dutch, Russian, Ukrainian and Swedish).
