Below is our recent interview with Matthew Gitelis, CEO and Co-Founder at PatientIQ:
Q: Could you provide our readers with a brief introduction to your company?
A: PatientIQ is a healthcare technology company that empowers healthcare organizations across the country to practice data-driven medicine and improve patient outcomes. Our propriety, cloud-based platform enables provider, payers, and industry partners to realize continuous quality improvement, enhance research, and streamline clinical care. We are headquartered in Chicago, IL.
Q: Any highlights on your recent announcement?
A: Like our other strategic partners, Illinois Bone and Joint Institute (IBJI) sought the ability to quantify the value of their clinical care easily, effectively, and continuously. This is particularly important as the industry moves toward more value-based care, but also because consumers have more choice than ever when it comes to selecting their care providers. Organizations need the ability to collect and benchmark their outcomes, identify best practices and areas of opportunity, and provide an exceptional patient experience. With PatientIQ, IBJI can do all of that on one, easy-to-use platform.
Q: Can you give us more insights into your offering?
A: The PatientIQ platform integrates with electronic health records to automatically filter, enroll, and engage patients in evidence-based, digital care pathways. Through these pathways, our platform collects patient reported outcomes and provides outcomes-based analytics to enable organizations and providers to benchmark performance and quantify the value of their care delivery.
Q: What can we expect from your company in next 6 months? What are your plans?
A: We are focused on strategic growth at PatientIQ. This means adding exceptional talent to our internal teams and continuing to partner with leading healthcare organizations that understand the importance of quantifying value and providing data-driven medicine.
Q: What is the best thing about your company that people might not know about?
A: In nearly every industry – whether it’s professional sports, financial services, or advanced engineering, big data is leveraged to improve decision-making and efficiency. The healthcare industry, however, largely lacks these capabilities. At PatientIQ, we’ve brought together researchers, biostatisticians, physicians, software engineers and other professionals to solve this problem – and the blend of that expertise, combined with our platform, makes us a uniquely powerful partner for healthcare organizations.Activate Social Media:
