Below is our recent interview with Pat Burns, CEO at Dispatch:
Q: Can you provide our readers with a brief introduction to Dispatch?
A: Founded in 2013 and headquartered in Boston, MA, Dispatch is the leading provider of software solutions for enterprise service brands that rely on independent service providers. Dispatch’s platform manages the service process from start to end, enhances customer experience and gives visibility into the performance of their independent service providers.
Q: You recently announced a crucial acquisition. What are the highlights?
A: We were thrilled to announce Dispatch’s recent acquisition of Youreka, a leading smart mobile forms product built on the Salesforce platform. The acquisition will directly improve our smart mobile automation capabilities by making it easier to build smart mobile service applications that assist frontline workers across various industries with the step by step processes they need to provide excellent service.
This fills a critical gap for us, and moving forward will help standardize operations, increase upskilling for frontline workers, and automate data capture across all types of workforces. The result will be improved experiences for enterprises, end customers and independent contractors.
Q: Can you give us more insights into what Dispatch offers its customers?
A: Industries are grappling with a variety of challenges right now, including labor shortages, supply chain issues and a growing skills gap.
Our platform provides a highly-customizable and flexible experience for technicians in the field, while allowing enterprise companies to maintain control of those evolving circumstances and workforces.
Q: What can we expect from Dispatch in next 6 months?
A: This deal was completed with growth in mind – both for our more than 100 employees and for our customer base. We currently have about a 50 percent annual growth rate, and we expect that trend to continue.
Q: What is the best thing about Dispatch that people might not know about?
A: Our user numbers are pretty staggering – service providers using the Dispatch Work field service management tool complete over 35,000 jobs per day – clocking in at over 60 million jobs total, and counting. By our estimation, this means Dispatch has been in almost 20% of the homes in the US!Activate Social Media:
