Wisdom To Lead (WTL) is a boutique consulting firm that provides leaders the ability to learn how to effectively inspire and engage others through consulting, Mindfulness Based Leadership (MBL) workshops and retreats. Below is our recent interview with Dr. Keren Tsuk, CEO of Wisdom To Lead:

Q: How would you describe Wisdom To Lead in your own words?

A: We work with various global organizations like: Check Point Software Technologies, Verint Systems, Ex Libris, Siemens, and others. We’re proud to say that our services and efforts have a positive impact on relationships and performance held in the organizations we worked with.

In my PhD regarding Leadership in the 21st century, I have found that mindfulness is a crucial tool that leaders need to embrace in order to engage their employees and lead an innovative and a cutting-edge company.

What makes WTL approach unique is the process of making mindfulness accessible in our day-to-day lives and in the business world. Mindfulness Based Leadership helps us to better manage ourselves, to create better relationships, to communicate mindfully and to innovate.

We believe that the ability to integrate our head and heart is the essence of growth and leadership. Our hearts are where essential leadership traits such as passion, compassion, creativity and courage reside. Mindfulness helps us integrate our head and our heart and creates balance. Leading from this balance enables innovation to flourish.

Following the course, we distributed to participants a questionnaire that included about eight binary questions. about 80% reported being calmer and more relaxed about 87% reported being more sensitive to others, about 84% reported seeing more things around them, and about 80% reported that they could communicate better.

Q: What types of services do you provide to your clients?

A: We provide managers with tools to increase their self awareness. This enables them to be more productive and efficient and to better managed their internal thoughts and feelings. In addition, being more mindful enables to create better relationships, communicate more effectively and achieve their full creative and innovative potential.

As the founder of Wisdom To Lead I have more than 20 years of experience as an organizational consultant. The MBL course and retreats are based on academic research and professional experience with our clients.

I have worked with leaders to change process and promote growth from a place of mindfulness, helping them to listen deeper to themselves, to connect to their wisdom, develop authenticity, and engage and inspire others. This increases their ability to communicate better with themselves, their teams and their colleagues.

Beyond the transformation the participants are going through during the course, they get various kinds of practical tools to use in the day-to-day. Alongside the meditations in the course, there are other non-meditative tools, such as models for managing emotions, creating communication in conflict situations, dialogue spaces, and so forth.

Thus, the unique part is the integration between the ability to pause, relax and listen deeper while at the same time people learn to act from the accurate place and having a variety of practical tools in which leaders need in order to increase their ability to engage their employees.
