karma digital Provides Companies With A Distinctive Approach To SEO Training

Listen to this article

karma digital empowers companies with the tools and strategies to improve rankings by themselves through education and training in their disruptive SEO approach. By offering ongoing strategy, monthly updates, reporting and 24/7 support karma digital ensures organic growth in search results at lower costs. Below is our interview with Cassie Boca, the founder and CEO of karma digital:

Cassie BocaQ: What is your disruptive SEO approach?

A: Businesses and entrepreneurs have changed so much in recent years with the focus on everything digital, while agencies haven’t. Companies know their businesses best, when you combine this with a new tech-savvy generation, there is no reason companies can’t do SEO themselves. In fact, because companies know their product and brand best, they can get significantly better results by doing SEO in-house.

karma digital is different because we train entire companies to be SEO-aware. Now you’ve got an entire organization not only creating content, but creating optimized content for better search results. In addition, we provide 24/7 chat so we can answer questions live as companies are working on their SEO… not several days later like a traditional agency. And lastly, we provide ongoing thought-leadership in realtime to make sure our clients are ahead of the SEO trends. We move quickly so our clients can too.

Q: What are main benefits for small and medium-size businesses?

A: Since many small and medium-size businesses are doing a lot of work themselves, wearing multiple hats and running on tight budgets, this model has many benefits for these companies to make the most of their websites and get better organic search results.

The main benefits are:

1) We help create a culture of SEO that is ingrained across the company, so it’s no longer one person’s job.
2) We provide 24/7 support, this allows our clients to move quickly…no more back and forth emails or waiting days for a response.
3) Our clients will never need an SEO-agency. Over a company’s lifetime this saves upwards of $12k a month in agency fees!
4) Better organic search results than a traditional agency, because our clients know their business best, we just give them the tools to use time and time again.

Q: Who are the primary users of your services and what are some of the key challenges you are helping them solve?

A: Our primary customers fall into two categories; first, startups with funding/marketing dollars and small businesses- both of these businesses are looking to learn SEO and do it themselves while not spending hours and hours staying on top of the trends. They also want support to know they are doing things right.

The second category of customers are medium-sized companies that are currently spending escalating amounts each month on an SEO agency, but not seeing the results they want. For these businesses, we focus on teaching the entire organization their role in SEO and building a culture of SEO. We also provide transition services to make sure it’s a smooth transition away from an agency while they bring SEO in-house.

Q: Could you tell us something more about work you are doing with Qhubeka?

A: It was really important to me when starting a company that there was a strong charitable piece. Being able to give back is a huge motivation for me, so I wanted to tie our success as a company to charitable donations. We picked Qhubeka as our partner because we work towards a mutual goal of empowering through education. At karma digital, I want to empower companies to do SEO themselves through education. Qhubeka provides bicycles to children throughout Africa, who’s biggest reason for missing school is simply the distance they have to travel. By ensuring children get to school, we can help build the future CMO’s and entrepreneurs of the world.

Q: What are your plans for next 6-8 months?

A: In the next 6-8 months we plan to focus heavily on hiring, and we will be hiring only the top 1% of digital marketers. We’ve been traveling around the world trying to find not only the best marketers but also people with a passion for helping companies succeed. That passion is hard to find, but it is also what really sets our team apart. We’ve recently honed in on a few locations in Africa where we’ve been blown away with the digital marketing talent and energy. Opportunity certainly isn’t equally distributed in this world, but the untapped digital marketing talent is just incredible.
