Q: Could you provide our readers with a brief introduction to your company?

A: Birdie is the AI-powered SaaS platform that delivers actionable insights for product lifecycle management and optimization. Driven by our AI-powered platform, Birdie captures and analyzes consumer opinions from multiple data sources to, with proprietary metrics and algorithms, remove the noise and uncover insights that support decision-making across the different product lifecycle stages. As a result, product teams can identify and monitor changes, trends, and problems with up to 40% more agility, making it easier to prioritize features and measure the impact of actions.

Q: Any highlights on your recent announcement?

A: We have recently announced new additions to the Birdie team, former Nubank executive Alexandre Spengler as new Head of Product and former Neogrid executive Eduardo Kazmierczak as new Director of Product & Technology. We also in February announced a new round of $7M funding from SoftBank and Illuminate Ventures to disrupt market research with our AI powered insights based on consumer opinions.

Q: Can you give us more insights into your offering?

A: Birdie distinguishes itself by processing unstructured opinions about products from an array of different sources with high accuracy and granularity, combining the benefits of qualitative and quantitative data analysis methods with state-of-the-art technology. The platform also generates automatic rankings showcasing strengths, weaknesses, jobs-to-be-done, critical issues, and features with higher impact in customer satisfaction for each product and segment – becoming a strategic cockpit for Product Managers.

Birdie already monitors more than 150 data sources including online retailers, app stores, discussion forums, and private customer experience systems such as call centers, satisfaction surveys, and social listening platforms, and has plans to increase this number by 3x over the next year.

Q: What can we expect from your company in next 6 months? What are your plans?

A: Birdie was created to help companies better understand their customers to build and deliver products that people love. To achieve that, we know that is important to understand natural language and identify customer expectations based on what they are saying. We are focused on expanding our AI and NLP capabilities to interpret any language with high accuracy, and are already expanding our services to 12 countries in 4 continents with one of our global clients. We will also invest in developing new features and products to continue supporting Product and Marketing teams in different activities related to the different stages of product lifecycle management, enhancing our reporting, collaboration, and insights recommendations capabilities.

Q: What is the best thing about your company that people might not know about?

A: The best thing about our company is definitely our team! We are proud of having amazing people that believe in our vision and work hard every day to help us deliver a great product and customer experience. The moat we’re building with our technology also stands out: we have developed AI models that are not only extremely accurate, but also are gathering data points and opinions from multiple sources to build the biggest product knowledge database in the world. That means that, soon, Birdie will have all the information that exists about any product in any category, which will allow us to provide answers to the most difficult questions about what people want, what is trending, what is missing, and much more, in just a few seconds.
