Q: Could you provide our readers with a brief introduction to your company?
A: Candidate.co is a digital platform for employment recruiting that unlocks the power of personal referral networks by connecting companies that are ready to scale with the best talent available. When a referral gets hired, the referrers (those who have access to share roles with their personal networks and submit the best talent) receive a significant cash bonus ranging from $2400 – $6000, depending on the role. Through the referrer network, employers get access to qualified talent, saving them time from sifting through resumes, and reaching a group of talented job seekers they might not otherwise have.
Q: Any highlights on your recent announcement?
A: We’re thrilled to have the continued support from the funds that invested in our pre-seed, led by Voyager with participation from BAM Ventures, Ascend.VC and Vulcan Capital. We’re also excited to have new support from Positive Sum and Revolution’s Rise of the Rest Seed Fund. With these funds, Candidate will be expanding our offering for both employers and referrers, enhancing tech features for all users and increasing the size of our team.

Q: Can you give us more insights into your offering? (can we bullet point this or due to formatting we cannot?)
A: For referrers, Candidates offers:
- An easy-to-use and organized platform, providing an efficient way for them to connect their network with the right opportunities, especially in the startup space.
- A significant cash bonus ranging from $2400 – $6000 is offered to the referrer if their candidate gets hired.
- Technology that helps them understand a wide range of roles and companies, with the ability to share this information with their contacts in a seamless way
For employers, Candidate is:

Q: What can we expect from your company in the next 6 months? What are your plans?
A: In the next six months, Candidate.co is expecting to continue its growth. With a current presence in Seattle, San Francisco, New York and Los Angeles for in-office roles and remote roles nationwide, we plan to continue to expand our reach. In addition to location growth, Candidate will continue expanding the type of roles that are being offered as we now support most non-technical roles in the tech space.
The platform provides additional tools to both employers and referrers to help identify the best potential matches. An example of this is the ability for referrers to share customized links to their social channels to understand who is open to opportunities and generate referrals. Candidate is also hiring for roles in sales, software development and marketing with more roles opening this year!

Q: What is the best thing about your company that people might not know about?
A: 60% of roles are filled via networking, but there isn’t a platform to facilitate those interactions – it’s limited to “who you know.” We find that most people are excited to help their colleagues, contacts and friends find work (and are often doing everything they can already) but are limited to the hiring managers and people in their network.
