Q: Honest Mobile was founded in 2019, could you tell us Honest Mobile story?
A: Honest Mobile was founded by two school friends, Andy and Josh, when we saw what Monzo and Bulb were doing in the banking and energy industries. The mobile industry looks very similar to banking and energy 10 years ago – long contracts, sneaky charges, penalising you for being a loyal customer and having to wait on hold for hours. There’s also a lack of focus on sustainability and protecting our planet.
Everyone has their own horror story dealing with a mobile network. There simply has to be a better way!
Honest Mobile is a mobile-first solution built from the ground up to change mobile for good. Giving customers a radically better experience and providing a more sustainable, carbon-neutral, option for their mobile phone.

Q: What are the key features of your application?
A: The Honest Mobile app has been built from scratch to give customers more control and a much better experience. You can quickly change plan, set usage limits, add bolt ons, manage multiple SIMs for your family or business, and receive helpful notifications about your usage, any extra charges, how much CO2 you’ve offset, or how many trees you’ve planted. You can sign up in under 60 seconds.
We also give all our customers a Loyalty Discount. Most mobile networks actually increase their prices mid-contract, and you normally get a better deal by moving to another network. This can’t be right! We think loyalty should be rewarded. That’s why we increase each customer’s Loyalty Discount each month up to a maximum of 30%
We’re also turning customer support on its head. If you need a hand with something, on average, you can speak to our UK support team in under 60 seconds and we’re proud to be top-rated mobile network on Trustpilot.
Q: Can you tell us something more about your pricing plans?
A: We have three simple, flexible data plans and you can change anytime. We even tell all our customers when they should downgrade to a cheaper plan and save money!
All our plans are carbon-neutral, have unlimited minutes and messages, unrestricted tethering (hotspot), Wifi calling, and free EU roaming.
Q: What are your plans for the first half of 2021?
A: We have loads happening this year. We’re currently preparing to launch 5G and integrated Wifi Calling as well as some more features in the app including visual voicemail. On top of this, we’ll also have a new look and feel to Honest Mobile coming soon so keep your eyes peeled.
We also have some exciting new sustainability goals and initiatives that we’re announcing in the next month.

A: One of the things we’re most proud of is being the first certified B Corporation mobile network in the UK. We’ve been a pending B Corp since 2019 and fully certified in October 2020 after going through B Corp’s rigorous approval process.
