Q: Could you provide our readers with a brief introduction to Xometry?

A: Xometry provides on-demand manufacturing, industrial supply materials and financing solutions to a diverse customer base, ranging from startups to small manufacturers to Fortune 100 companies. Our global network of over 5,000 partner manufacturing facilities enables us to maintain consistently fast lead times while offering a broad array of capabilities, including CNC machining, 3D printing services, sheet metal fabrication, injection molding, binder jetting and urethane casting.

Q: What are some of the real-world results enterprises can expect with your solution?

A: We make custom prototypes and production parts in the technologies listed above. Our parts are quoted instantly via Xometry’s Instant Quoting Engine, and we make them and get them to your door in as fast as one day. Q: What can we expect from Xometry in the next 12 months?

A: We will continue to grow our custom parts business, improving our instant quoting engine and looking to add more processes and services to it. In recent months we have launched some great new features, including our Digital RFQ Marketplace, which offers engineers and purchasing managers the ability to get quotes directly from our partner network, and the Xometry Advance Card, which is a debit card our partners can use to get up to 30% of each job they accept from Xometry paid up front to help with cash flow.
