Q: You’ve recently announced your expansion into new financial categories; can you tell us something more?
Rafael: Smarter Loans has been a leader in the loan industry for the last 4 years by helping connect Canadians that are looking for any type of financing with leading loan providers all over the country. Our visitors are able to compare their options in one place and they get access to innovative brands that can approve them for financing entirely online.
Our new expansion is exciting because we’ve formed relationships with leading financial companies that offer innovative financial products outside of lending and that are available online. The new categories in our expansion include: Investing, Insurance, International Money Transfers, Banking, and Debt Solutions.
Q: Can you give us more insights into your platform?
Vlad: Absolutely! We make it simple for Canadians to discover top and innovative brands that can help them improve their financial situation in the long and the short-term. Our research team works extremely hard to research and discover the top loan, insurance, investing, banking and other financial service providers that offer their products online. We then profile each company and provide key information about their products, which makes it easier for our visitors to make smarter financial decisions. Canadians love coming to Smarter Loans because they are able to access many great financial products in one place. For us it comes down to providing a great experience, a lot of choice, and convenience to people looking to discover and shop financial products digitally from the comfort of their home.
Q: What are your plans for next 6 months?
Vlad: We plan to continue our growth by providing new and exciting options for Canadians that are looking for financial products and services. Whether they are looking for savings, borrowing, investing, or growing their business, we are working hard to make sure that they know they can find a solution on Smarter Loans. We will continue to invest into education around key financial decisions and advocate for more transparency from companies that offer financial services online.
Q: Who is your ideal user and why?
Rafael: We actually don’t use the word “users” in our company. Everyone that comes to our website is a person and our goal is to help them. The way we view it in our company is, how do we become the ideal resource for financial products for them? What are they looking for and why? Do we have great options for them to compare and try?
We know that our visitors really enjoy the way we profile top companies and present them (visitors) with great options. Now we just have to continue to evolve and stay on the digital trend that Canadians consumers continue to want and expect when it comes to financial products and services. We are on a mission to provide Canadians with information on new and existing companies that can have a positive impact on their financial well-being, whether it is on a personal or business level.
