Below is our recent intervew with Kristine Murawski, Director of Marketing at HomeJab:

Q: What is HomeJab?

A: HomeJab is the solution for all real estate media needs. We offer on demand photos, videos, aerials, 3D, and most recently 360 interactive video. We employ over 300 digital artists, work with over 7,500 agents per year, and we cover all 50 states.

Q: Why is now the time for a technology solution like HomeJab?

A: People begin their home search online. It is no longer an option to not have a listing online and with this requirement comes the problem of gaining attraction. HomeJab is here to help real estate professionals ensure their listing looks its best and capture the attention of a potential homebuyer.

Q: You’ve recently created packages to incorporate neighborhood video and photos into real estate listings; could you tell us something more?

A: We were consistently asked by our customers if they could include some shots of the neighborhood. After doing some research we found an NAR study where 78% of homebuyers found neighborhood quality to be more important than size of the home. This is a huge number and we couldn’t ignore it. We always want to keep up with what is best for real estate marketing. Right now, the neighborhood is a huge selling point for homes.

Q: Can you give us insights into your packages?

A: We strive to ensure we are offering everything that someone may need to list to the fullest potential. We have a wide range of price points and offer different combinations of media. All of our packages offer the same quick turnaround time of 24 hours. We currently offer photos (HDR and standard), video, aerials, twilight shoots, 3D scans, and most recently 360 interactive video.

Besides the media mentioned above, HomeJab also offers virtual staging, blue sky replacement, virtual dusk photos, and we are soon introducing virtual dusk interior photos.

Q: Why are you offering 360 interactive videos?

A: 360 is the newest technology available and we wanted to make it accessible in the real estate world. It’s extremely beneficial for a potential homebuyer to see all angles of the home. A picture can only show so much, but a 360 video can show the viewer everything.

Additionally, combining a standard video with a way to interact with it is more inviting and can better hold the attention of the viewer.

We felt it necessary to help real estate professionals have access to the newest most innovative ways to market. A 360 interactive video can attract more buyers, but also enhance their personal brand.

Q: What are your plans for the future?

A: We have a lot of projects in the works. One being an app that would make it easier and faster for our customers to order. Another involves some great new ideas for our 360 videos. We’re also considering a package to include more interaction with the agent on camera. We’re always staying on top of things to better the overall HomeJab experience and offer the newest technology possible.
